powerpoint won't work on Office XP Small Business
I had to reformat due to problems and had to reinstall my Office XP Small
Business (02) Now I can't get the Powerpoint to work. I have the CD's and
everything else works fine, but the program doesn't even show up in my list
of programs and if I try to open one of my PP documents, it sends me an error
message and to the web site saying I need to install PP. I"ve done the

Outlook in Image
I am building an image and have installed Office 2003 on it.
I will be syspreping the image as it will be used for many PC's.
I need to configure Outlook in the image, so that the end-user has nothing
to do, but open Outlook when they log on. (Their credentials for the
Exchange server will already be in place etc.)
How can I achieve this? I'm aware of the Office resource tools, custom

Better Customer Support
I am so disappointed right now with your Customer Support and supposed 'free
trials'. I purchased a new computer which came with Office installed for a
free 60-day trial. I was unable to activate the product in order to do
anymore than just read existing files. I continued to receive an error
stating that the Internet Connection was not detected, I disabled my
anti-virus & my firewall wh...

Office 2003 MUI vs localized version rollout opinions
Hi all,
Wondering if anyone had opinions on deploying Office 2003 in multiple
languages using MUI vs localized versions or if anyone had run into issues
using one method over the other. We are a small company but have offices in
Japan and China, amongst others. Since we have no fulltime IT in these
offices, the branch users pretty much take care of installing their own
software with h...

Install of 2003 upgrade
I have a new computer on which I want to install office 2003 pro upgrade. I
own office 97, but do not want to install 97 on my new computer. Can I still
install 03? I assume it will ask me to put the 97 CD in the drive. I will
then have to remove the 03 disk, insert the 97 disk, and wait for it to
verify. Is this correct?

Configuring Office User Information
We use Ghost to clone and deploy our Corporate computes, with Office 2003
w/SP2. It's somewhat normal for multiple users to login to our computers,
creating multiple profiles.
During the initial install, one must enter user information, and, from that
point on, THAT username seems embedded and used by any later user--unless
deliberately changed. This is causing an issue, especially wi...

Reinstallation OXP 2002
My academeic version of OXP was originallly installed on laptop. Then I
installed it on a new desktop (in a separate partition for
programs). It installed fine and worked fine.
I had to do a system restore on C drive of the desktop and now OXP
installer says I'm not using the right Product Key. The OXP files are
still on the separate partition but, of course, no related files are on

Office 2003 installs with no questions asked. But Office 2000 stays on
machine.
On my Group Policy, I have choosen Publish to users, not computers.
