License Owner information mistyped, how can I correct it?
When software was initially installed, the company name was incorrectly
entered. I've been able to change the user name, but that mis-spelled
company name bothers me. Any way of changing it?
Thanks

Repair Office 2000 without CD?
Hello, I build XP laptop images for my corporation and it contains
Office 2000. Is there a way to setup my image so that Office could be
repaired without CDs? Maybe a subset of files from the install CDs
copied to a folder on the hard drive could suffice?
We do not wish to deploy install CDs to the entire field for various
obvious reasons and the users are quite annoyed at having to re-im...

Trying to install full Office; PC had trial version; key failing.
Purchased a Toshiba notebook. Had trial version of Office installed.
Uninstalled it in preparation for full licensed version of Microsoft Office

I have an invalid license key. I know the license key works because I tested
the Office install on the notebook I'm retiring. I suspect it's 'leftovers'

When I click on the Word icon, it takes five minutes or so for the program to

and I
still got the error message.

Problems with shortcuts in help files
I'm having some problems with the shortcuts in help. When I'm using help
(F1), the links do not appear correctly.
For Example:
If I'm searching for help for ABS function, the "Example" link and "See
Also" link appears invalid (kind of a square with a minus sign inside) and it
does not work. It may occur for all Windows help files, not only for Office.
Any suggestion how to fix it ?

Assume I have a *.doc Word file.
Can I find out with which Word (from which Office version e.g. Word2000, Word XP, Word2003, Word2007beta)

In other words: Do the Word program put some hidden editor information into the source?
