how to enlarge Cross-reference dialog box in word 2003
hi all,
wxp pro sp2, office 2003 sp2,
i am using Insert -> Cross-reference function, which brought up the
Cross-reference dialog box (the one where it asks for Reference type:, Insert
reference to:, and For which caption:, and etc). is there a way to enlarge
or at least widen the width of this (Cross-reference) dialog box? maybe there
is a key somewhere in the registry to this di...

How do I add the Genius Office Assistant to Office 2003?
I have two computers at home. One has Office 2000 and the other Office 2003.
I noticed that the Einstein looking Genius office assistant in Office 2000 is
not available when installing Office 2003. I really want that office
assistant in my Office 2003. Could someone tell me how to add it in?

How can I move my Word and Excel macros to a new computer?
I have had to migrate to a new computer, and I have several macros in Word
and Excel that I will need to use on the new computer. How can I move them

Photo Editor 3.0 vs 3.01
I run Office2000 under Win98SE. The Photo Editor version installed by Office
setup is 3.01, which has a feature I find annoying: the zoom size changes by
mousewheel by doubling the % -- that is, a photo loaded at 50% zooms to

Question about envelop / addresses lost in new Word 2003
Hello, My company recently updated our computer with MS Office 2003, and
now all the addresses that I had entered in Word for envelopes are gone. I
know I can reenter them in Word one at a time, but is there some way to
ressurect them. Someone suggested a Mail Merge - but I did not have the
addresses stored in Outlook - I just added them directly in Word from the

Office 2007 Beta Setup Fails
Hi. I uninstalled Office Professional Plus 2007 Beta 2 times. The third
time I attempted to install it, after selecting Access 2007 in the
custom installation setup tells me: "Installation has failed. Sorry for the
inconvenience." or something to that effect.
I've tried both types of installation with the same result.
I re-downloaded the setup file again. No dice.

Print in reverse order
Hi, I have one 14 page document that I want to print in reverse order, I
know I can go to 'file/print/options' and select 'print revers order' but
this is a setting that affects every document, I want to know is it possible
to do it just for one document and not the others?

I've downloaded the 440 MB of Office Pro, I am prompted to run the
installation but doing so i am asked if i wish to proceed with the

How do I move Office 2003 from an old computer to a new one?
I recently bought Office 2003 Professional and installed it on my laptop.
Shortly thereafter I realized I needed to get a new laptop. How do I remove
Office 2003 from the old laptop, which I am getting rid of, and then install
it on the new laptop? Please be precise. I am about as technologically

replace MSWord shortcut to start>allprograms>MSOffice
I inadvertently deleted the MSWord icon from the flyout for MSOffice, when I
go >start>all programs>MSOffice... so now I'm just seeing MSExcel, MSOutlook
shortcuts, & MSOffice tools... to launch word I have to go everytime to an
existing file & launch by opening existing .doc.
How can I put the Word shortcut back in the MSOffice flyout?

MS Office 2003 and Windows XP Home
I have five accounts on my p.c.. I,as the administrator, have no problems,
but the other people who use it have to wait for 'Office' to load each time
they log on. This can take up to 20 minutes each time and is obviously quite
infuriating. They usually end up logging off and ask to use my profile which
defeats the object of 'user accounts'. Anyone know what is causing this

Reading a Product Installation Key
I recently bought a Microsoft Office Home Use CD Pack through work. For the
life of me I can't install as it is giving me an "invalid product key"
message. Now the product key is printed right on the back so it must be that

Missing files in Office 2003 setup
Each time I try to install Office Standard 2003 on XP Professional there
appears to be a number of files missing showing errors for example when
Outlook is intalling - Error 1309 OUTLPREF.H. I can continue to ignore these
errors but finally a DDL file will kill it all off. I've installed this
version successfully on previous PCs but for some reason this one isn't
having any of it....

Office 2007 beta will not uninstall; will not repair; cannot reins

application, a configuration program runs. This program should have only run

Works Suite 2006
I have Works 2000 which was already installed on my computer. I recently
purchased (with a product key) the Works Suite 2006. However, when I attempt
to install it, I get an error message that tells me that the system cannot

Extra slash in temp-environment variable causes 2007 setup to fail
2007 beta setup program fails if the temp-environment variable ends with
slash "\". For example I had: "c:\temp\" and it didn't work. Changed this to
"c:\temp" and it started working.
I was getting "counted_ptr cannot apply operator '*' to an empty object
pointer Type: NullReference. "

Error 0xc0150002 - Office 2007 installation
Hi there. Just playng around with a spare laptop, and have installed Windows
Vista Beta 1 Build 5112. Also downloaded Office 2007. After having to
download the installation file twice, due to extraction problems, I ran the
setup.exe file, and am getting the following error:

Office 2003 Professional and User Accounts
I've noticed that when I install Office 2003, the user account changes from
an Administrator to a Debugger User.
I change it back, then if I install an Office Service Pack or update, it
reverts back
again from Administrator to Debugger User.
This seems like a flaw to me.
Is Microsoft aware of this?
