Ive got office 2007 installed and i have also the internet explorer 7 beta 3.

active x control issues after office 2007 is installed

2007 setup fails without error !
Folks
For some reason I don't seem to be able to install the 2007 beta on my
fairly standard and stable XP Pro setup.
Whenever launching the setup I get the installer splash screen for a
few seconds with the message "Please wait while Setup prepares the
necessary files"... and then the whole thing disappears with no error
message. Have looked into the event log but nothing there...

enable file and print sharing error in installing office
I am trying to install MS Office Small Business Edition. I get an error
message 'enable file and print sharing', and its enabled in the PC under
network connections.
Not sure what other 'file and print sharing' services, if any, needs to be
enabled....

Problems with attachment
My users hava a problem when they shall attach a dokument to an e-mail.
The problem is that sometimes when they attach a dokument, the attatched
dokument places in field where u should type your text? We want the
attachment yo place in a new line "Attachment" under the "subject" line. Can
anyone tell me whats wrong and how i can fix it? excuse my bad english. The

All Toolbars Gone
I have a cousin and she lost all of her toolbars in Word. I think she
is running Office XP. She can't go to VIEW -> toolbars because that
menu is not there. Just the ruler.
I don't know how she did it but she did. Of course its my fault
somehow since I built the PC. Rather than trek over there and fix the

2007 Beta2 Product Registration
I had a sucessful install of the Beta and it ask me to register it. I have 2
dialup accounts on my PC and I have tried all combinations of getting the
Beta to recognize eith one (local ISP and AOL). I have had them not logged in
or logged in. What can I do to get a connection recognized before the 45 trys
run out?

Corporate key with oem cd
I've lost the orginal Office 2003 Professional installation cd which is
part of an (old) Volume Licening program.
So that code won't work on an OEM version of the install cd; is there a
way of 'modifying' the setup.ini to accept the VL key?
I now this can be done with an Windows XP OEM cd, can it also be done
with Office?

New install of office fails to recognize file format.
I installed Office 2003 Pro on a new computer that only had a trial version
of corel on it. After the install, Windows fails to recognize the file
extensions for previously created or new files. I.e. xls, doc. It asks the
user to either use the internet to search for suggestions on which program to
open the document with, or it lets the user pick from a list of available

Why cant install Office 2003 with MST? Some components already exist

I need to install Office with MST? Some components already exist eg.
Outlook. But when i install Office over the top of Outlook it does
nothing.
Both were installed by the same user using MST.
When i run the second MST, the event vwr says that it installed fine,
