Restoring Templates
Hello,
We are working in a Terminal Server environment. Office XP is fully
installed with multiple MUI for Office XP / Windows 2003 Server.
Everything looks OK, except that many templates are missing from the
list. For example, in Word, many English templates in "Letters & Faxes"
are missing.
In the installation folder of Office XP, all MUI are correctly listed
under Templates, and all ...

Proof Tools for Office 2007?
Hi,
I have been using Office 2007 for 5-6 weeks and so-far-so-good...
My qestions is: How can I configure, English version, to add an other
language dictionary? I would like to add the Norwegian dictionary, and set
the auto detect laguage active?

Hi. I bought a genuine microsoft Frontpage and have it installed on my PC
I suffer from a bad back and can't sit at my desks for long periods of time
so I have a laptop to continue tasks on the coutch or bed.
Trouble is I can't install Frontpage on my laptop as it's already activated
on my pc.
How do I go about this?
I do understand trying to prevent piracy and eligal coppying but if I'...

Installing Office 2003 with a GPO
Hello,
I'm looking for a way to use the active directory to deploy office 2003 in
my office. So far, I was able to install it by users but I want to install
Office 2003 on computers regardless of the users that will be on a station.

Office Installation Failure
I needed to uninstall Office Professional Plus 2007 Beta 2 times. The third
time I attempted to install it, after selecting the Access 2007 in the
custom installation setup tells me :
"Installation has failed. Sorry for the inconvenience." or something to that
effect.
I've tried both types of installation with the same result.
I re-downloaded the setup file again. No dice.

Trial wizard can not locate internet connection?
I there a problem with registering the trial of Teacher Student Office 2003?
This is the second manchine I have purchased it pre-installed, the first went
fine, the second machine the wizard can not connect to the internet, check
connections and check back later? I have been at this for days, and have
contacted the machine manufacture, they even remoted into my machine and

Here is an interesting problem. I am running a Windows 2003, sp1 Terminal
Server that supports only 20-25 users from our branch offices. This server
has Office 2000 sp3 on it, installed properly with the Terminal Services

Changing Office installation point in registry via GPO
Hello,
I am trying to Change the Office installation point in registry via
GPO.
I can not find where this is set. I have done alot of Googleing on
this, and everyone has asked a similar but not quite the same question.
Using Windows XP, and Office 2003. Installed with a CD and now need to

Error installing Excel 2007 Beta2
I've been using Word and Outlook 2007 Beta2 since MS released it and today
went to install Excel but keep getting an error. The install box keeps
coming up with this dialogue box: "Setup cannot find Pro.WW\ProWW.xml.

i cant get word 2000 to open after it was installed
I have installed Office 2000 Standard complete version and I get the message
that it was installed completely. However, when I try to open Microsoft Word
it will not open. I get a message to install the program. I have tried
uninstalling and reinstalling and even repair/reinstall several times to no

Installing Office 2007 using Citrix Installation Manager
Does anybody know if it is possible to install using IM on Citrix Terminal
Servers, as the IM will only accept MSI invoked installs and as far as I can
make out Office 2007 does not allow/support this method, only for GPO
installs as there is a custom action which takes care of thistype of install....

Office2003 Install Interrupted by IIS prompting for Credentials
When installing Office2003, any folder shortcuts to our Intranet sites,
usually stored in users' Favorites, gets a prompting for credentials to our
Intranet web (IIS 5 on a Win2003 server). It's really the Office patches part
of the install (after base Office 2003 install), in the form of .msp files
that's causing the issue. Of course, SMS2003 uses the NT\System account to

Office 2003 always run install when the user is not administrator
OS = XP pro with sp2
Previous office 2000 install removed before installing Office2003
When not on an account with admin privilages Office always runs a mini
install when you click on the icons to start the application. Happens with
all apps in office.

Office 2007 install fails WITHOUT error
Folks
For some reason I don't seem to be able to install the 2007 beta on my
fairly standard and stable XP Pro setup.
Whenever launching the setup I get the installer splash screen for a few
seconds with the message "Please wait while Setup prepares the necessary
files"... and then the whole thing disappears with no error message. Have
looked into the event log but nothing there...

Need to migrate macros
Hi
I have created a document in Word 2003, that has 39 macros with icons
visible on the tool bar.
The macros are there for whatever document I open, I don't mind that.
My query is,,,,, if I want to migrate these macros to another computer,
what is the way to do it?

Reinstalling Office 2003 Pro after hard drive reformat
I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall Windows XP Home Edition. When
I bought my computer, I purchased a brand new copy of Office 2003 Pro. I

Speech recognition problem
Hello,
I have windows XP Home SP2 and office XP. I have speech recognition
activated and I am able to train and save different profiles.
But when I try to start to use it in word it just does not do anything.
I try to click on 'Microphone' and Dicatation and it seems that it should do
it, but it does not do a thing. Any suggestions?

Unable to re-install Office 2007 Pro Plus Beta

I've been using Office 2007 Pro Beta for a couple of months now without any
problems other than its slow, CPU gobbling behavior.
To remedy the problems, I thought perhaps MS had made some updates to my
