along with "Desktop", "My Documents", "My Computer", etc.
Can this be changed? Where is ...

Office 2003 Admin Install
I have created an admin install with our VL Office 2003 product.
However, my users cannot install it because they are not
administrators.
Therefore, If I "RUN AS" to install it as administrator it installs
fine, but the first time any "user" runs any of the office apps, it
starts "Installing" again (not the full product, just what I believe is
the user config for the package). Then it fail...

can I install my activated OfficeXP on replacement hard disk?
My computer's hard disk began sticking and stopping, and the manufacturers
have replaced it before it breaks entirely. I'm worried, though, that when I
install that hard drive, I won't be able to install my Office disk as it's
already been activated on the bad drive. Is that a worry? If so, how do I
get round it?...

Installation Fails
I'm using the Custom Installation Wizard to install Outlook 2003 at my

The installation bar goes through the checking and uninstalling older
versions routine and then tries to start the installation proper but stops
and rolls back what it has done.
Is there any way of checking to see what is stopping the installation p...

How to keep default UK English!
I have opted for "defaulT UK English", not bastardized US English which has
no real standing in the literary word, else why should T S Eliot come and

Back to main moan: why does the default keep shifting back to US-mode? I

Office Admin Installs
Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to have all versions of Office in the same
directory. Basically, if a client has Office 2003 Pro, Office 2003
Standard, Outlook 2003, Office XP Premium, can they all co-exist in
e:\ClientApps\Office? Not \Office\XPPro, \Office\XPStd, etc. All the
STD11.msi, PRO11.msi, OWC11.msi, STD10.msi would be in teh same directory.
TIA,
Carlos.
