I keep getting "Internal MSI error. Installer terminated prematurely"
when installing Office 2003.
This occurs when the Action "ProcessComponents" (Updating component
registration) is running:
Action 5:37:07: ProcessComponents. Updating component registration
MSI (s) (7C:24) [05:37:11:125]: Internal MSI error. Installer

VBA window open off-screen
Hi,
My Internet explorer and VBA window both started opening off screen and
I can only see they on the Task bar.
I fixed the a Exploer window with the help from the attached link but
resetting the registry but can't seem to find a link on how to do this
for the VBA window.

Install Audit Trail?
Hi - I am trying to determine who/when an office installation was upgrade. I
have logs for the original install of Office 2000 in 2004, but the current
version is Office XP. There do not appear to be any logs for me to reference.
Anybody have any ideas where I may find an upgrade log or something?...

problem with KB904018 for Access XP
Hallo,
I have a problem with KB904018 install.
It's for Access XP SP3 (Polish version).
If I try install this fix I have following problems:
- In the end installation I have error 1101. Problem with reading
C:\WINDOWS\Installer\MSI3A.tmp (random file *.tmp). System error 32. And

Installing office
My question is, is it possible to recover product keys for the Office 2007
beta. I had installed the beta software, however my computer crashed as a
result of a virus, and i lost majority of my data. I downloaded the software
from microsoft back in June/July and the keys were sent to me at my email
account is it possible to recover those keys or will i have to purchase them ?...

Customizing Word for Visually Disabled
If this isn't the right newsgroup, please let me know which one is.
I need to make Microsoft Word's I-bar (the vertical flashing line indicating
the insertion point ) more visible for a visually-impaired user. Changing
options in Windows XP's Control Panel for "Accessibility Options" and
"Mouse" have no effect.
Any suggestions please?

The downloaded Office 2003 has expired and asks for a current Registration #.
I have an Office 2003 on my just on my other computer, but it has died. Why
can't I have this computer accept the number from the Office 2003 already
installed in my dead computer?

office 2007 beta outlook problems
i cannot send mail through my outlook (via aol isp). I can receive, but, get
"535 autthentication failed" error when sending. I have tried several
combinations of outgoing and incoming port (stuff) and quite frankly am
totally confused. is there anyone who cares to take the time to walk me
through, and troubleshoot this process? I would greatly appreciate it.

How do I install office 2003 if setup doesn't run?
I just bought MS office 2003 student/teacher edition. When i put the cd in
setup doesn't run. Instead the CD opens and i can see the icons for the files
currently on cd. autoplay does the same thing. I've never installed anything
manually, can someone help or should i return it?...

I installed Office 2003 upgrade on one of my computers, have the disk, but
cannot find the case it came in with the product key. Is there some way I
can get the key off one computer to copy it to the other? How can I install

when connect2online help open new browser,kicks me out of app
Why when you want to conenct to office help, doesnt it open a new browser?
It uses the one I currently have open, which is an important browser based
application for work. I could be maintaining a record and writing a long
paragraph, and I lose this information and it logs me out.

How do I get rid of annoying Please wait while...
Ok, goes like this: Some dweeb went and tried to install either the
Japanese or Korean character set, without asking! Hence the dweeb
comment.
Now everytime I go to open any Office document I get that annoyuing

after installing office 2007 beta 2, my frontpage 2003 fails.
When I open FrontPage 2003, that part is fine, but when I go to save
anything, the program crashes and closes and sends error report to Microsoft.
I have a hosted website on GoDaddy.com servers and I use FrontPage 2003 to
upload the files. I never had a problem before I installed the MS Office
2007 Beta 2 programs and I want to uninstall the Beta 2 but I have heard

60-day Office 2003 trial - "Fatal error during installation"
I've been trying to install the 60-day Office 2003 trial, but to no avail - I

Norton AV/Firewall off, before trying to install, and even burning the file
