Trial Office missing sku112.cab file
PC came with trial version of Office. While attempting to activate/install
WORD 2003 the process halted with message that the sku112.cab file was
missing. PC did NOT come with any CDs so unable to reference that resource.
Where can the missing file be found? Previous posts have asked Microsoft
what they are doing to resolve problem in same situation but have not seen
any responses.

Recently Used File List.... Gone!! (Office2003)
I have updated my Office 2003 Professional CD by slipstreaming SP2 into it.
I then updated my installed version with the SP2 edition.
Now the 'Recently use file list' in the Tools > Options > General Tab is
greyed out in all my Office applications....grrrrrrr!
Is there any way to fix this? as I have files spread over 9 working drives &
3 storage drives & hunting for files is a real...

windows xp home installation fails
I am trying to install WindowsXP Home edition and each time I get to the
point that I can choose the option to install (ie. press 'Enter'), the
computer shuts down. Sometimes, I get past this stage but the end result is
always the same.
I am almost certain that it is not my hardware because I dont' get this
problem when I boot with another CD to reformat my disk. ...

Blank Office Help Window
For no reason I can determine, the Help window in each of my Office XP (Small
Business Edition) applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., comes up
gray and blank. Whether I hit F1, click the word Help on the menu bar, or
enter a question in the help window at the top of the page makes no

Outlook 2003 removed w/ 2007 B2 install
I did an administrative install from a network share of office 2007 B2. I
specified that Word and Excel 2007 be installed, removing those programs in
2003, but leaving intact Outlook 2003 and other 2003 programs.
On 2 instances, Outlook 2003 was removed, but other programs in 2003 were
left intouched. (access, powerpoint, publisher)

my user inteface shows 2 langs. why
I upgrades to office 03, I am an American living in israel. the upgrade was
i Hebrew and accompanied with enterprise edition 2003 (multilanguage content.
After downloading the interface changed to english in all of office programs
except outlook, there it shows english and hebrew. Why??

Outlook 2007 Beta - Send/receive "not implemented"???
I have installed Office 2007 including Outlook which worked fine at first. I
received a few mails but now I can't use all functions in Outlook. If I press
send/receive I get an error message saying "not implemented". If I try to
change my account settings or create a new mail the same thing happens. I

How do I uninstall Office 97 Professional without the CD
Our company purchased a full version, rather than an upgrade, of Office Pro
2003. Also, the CD's for the already installed Office Pro 97 are unavailable.
When trying to uninstall Office Pro 97, I am prompted for the CD's, and

Custom outlook profile using CIW (outlook 2000)
Has anyone here ever been able to use the CIW to make an outlook
profile work in a non-exchange environment. In the CIW I specified the
smtp and pop3 server, the needed services, etc. office installs from
the GPO ok, but when I run outlook for the 1st time, none of the fields
I specified are filled in. If anyone can point me in the right

Word serial numbers
I have a customer with a donated computer. They have PowerPoint, Excel, and
Publisher installed, but not Word and Outlook. Is there a way I can detect
the serial number for the other programs? They do not have the licenses
numbers, but I believe that it is a legitimate installation. The previous
users were using WordPerfect. Thanks.

Office 97 Small Business
Hello,
Here at the company I still use one pc with "Office 97 Small Business", but
last week something appends it is not working anymore.
So, trying to solve the problem, I have formatted the pc and reinstalled
"win95usb".
The problem appends now, when I try to install the office, it gives me the

Office 2003 reinstall after foolish uninstall and system restore
I was having trouble with Word 2003 doing wierd stuff (foreign characters not
working, outline view toolbar flickers annoyingly, document map randomly
turning itself off, toolbars that I had closed suddently coming back, and
EndNote 7 shutting down at random), and finally decided after tearing my hair

Office 2007 Beta Install/Uninstall failures
Saw other posts regarding this and followed all the suggestions including
buring a CD. I had installed The Beta on top of my 3003 install and
everything worked fine until Outlook got flaky. I have uninstalled both
versions and gotten error messages during the uninstall but both seem to have
at least disappeared from the ADD/Remove Programs and Start>Program list.

Reinstalling Office 2007 -
I used th beta for some time, but after several errors, got the advise from
