Limit width of web page.
How can you limit the width of a page created in web layout? I'm creating
documents in the web layout view that I wish to be a specific or maximum
width. In actual use on the web, I want it to load without replacing the
window from which it is linked, and I want it to be about a width of about 6
inches or less. How do I accomplish this?

html link to applications - urgent!
i really need someone to tell me how to create an html link
to applications such as winword / winamp....
someone told me to create a link to an empty doc and
i tried that but the thing is that when u do that
a window will pop-up and ask u if u want to save the document / open it
and i dont want it 2 b this way...
sure, u can change a reg-key so that it wont ask u what to do and immidiatly
...

Inserting counters
Can anyone explain how to insert a counter on a word .doc that is being saved
as a web page? I would like to be able to see how many "hits" it gets. Thanks

Security
The hyperlink in the word for secured site takes you in to the acount. the
page is 128bit encrypeted,
The secured page is being displayed in (I. E. 6.0), and the session cookie
for that site expires at 30 minutes. The same link in a power point doesn't
allow you to go into the account.
Do word 2003 share cookies with IE? I would appreciate you help, thanks,

Posting read-only files on a web page
I've made a link from a web page to a Word file which I've marked as
read-only. When I go to the web page and download the Word file, it carries
no read-only warning at the top, and is completely editable. Is there anyway
I can prevent this?...

I just got back working on my website. Its taken a long time to finish but I am getting there.

Office 2000 HTML Filter can't be installed for Office 2003
I want to carry on using the Office 2000 HTML Filter on a new machine that
has Office 2003 installed. The reason I want to use the orginal filter (and
not the new functionality built into Word 2003) is because I can bulk process
rather than having to open each file and manually do this.
However, when I try and install I am told I cannot because I don't have any

I need a cookie to be sent by e-mail. So that by opening such a mail a
cookie would be stored in appropriated place by client. Then the subsequent

Web Forms
Hi
I wonder if someone can help me. I have created a website using Microsoft
Word. I am trying to create a new page for my site 'an online form' for
submission to me. I have pretty much completed the form however I can't seem
to work out how to create a formula [that works] in the form.

Hyperlinks truncate on import from Reference Manager
Hope someone can help. I am trying to have live journal hyperlinks in the
bibliography that is exported from Reference Manager into Word 2000. I
believe (?) the export works correctly from RM; however, the 'active' part of
the link/text is not the whole address, ie:

MS Word 2000 changes a part of the html source when I edit a html document,
e.g. MS Word changes name="description" into name=description. Is there a

Hyperlinks don't seem to be working
Hello all-
I'm stumped! I created a word document with a number of hyperlinks within
the document and saved it as a web page. When I send it via email, all of the
hyperlinks display blue, but cannot be clicked to access the web page.
(unless it's a link that displays a specific web address?
Any clues why that's the case?

word document to online form?
I wondered if anyone can point me to a discussion of how to take a Word
document which looks like a form but is just text, lines and boxes and put
this online as a form to be filled in a browser.
I can't presume end users have Word, nor can I require them to install any
ActiveX components. They would probably have Flash and Acrobat Reader
installed.
