Select table column selects misaligned cells
Thanks to you MVPs for the loads of help you give day in and day out. I
have not posted in microsoft.public.* before, but I search here
whenever I run into difficulty, and am seldom disappointed.

Can't Print an online form using tables, it freezes
I created a 28-page online form using Word. When the user enters data in the
form, it can become as large as a 2 meg file. When the user wants to print
it, it freezes with a message in the status bar at the bottom that says 'Word
is printing background'. I've gone into Tools, Options, Print and deselected
the print background option, but it still happens. The form was created in

Trying to copy multiple rows from a table
I've created a complex table that will part of a form (printed). The table
consists of 4 row sections that each contain two header rows & boxes
underneath them, i.e.
(just a sample, real table is much bigger, and contains imbedded tables, and
merged cells).

How can I put words on top of shading
I downloaded the template Service invoice (Blue Gradient theme) which is said
to work in Word 2000. It looks very nice on screen, but when I print it, the
shading at top and bottom covers up the words.
I can't find any way to put the words over top of the shading.

Creating a formula in word crashes my laptop
My office 2003 products work perfectly on my laptop. But recently I have
been attempting to create a formula in a table (I would normally use excel
and paste link). But everytime I attempt it, my entire laptop crashes and
reboots. It is only happening when I attempt this function.
I have done a repair, and it says everything is fine
I have done all my updates, but it still happens.

page dividers
I have a multi-page alphabetically-arranged table. I would like to set up
divider tabs (as in a notebook) that show on the right side with alphabet
letters to make it easier for users to move from one section to another. Is
this possible in a Word 2000 document? Appreciate thoughts. Thanks....

How to delete multiple tables?
We can use Talbe/Delete/Talbe to delete a talbe.
But if we select multiple talbes, the command is
disabled. Is there any method to delelte multiple
tables at once? I dont want to use VBA.

How do I get back my Table's Properties menu? It's grayed out.
I've typed a rather complicated Table and have lost being able to get the
Tables Properties. It's available in other documents in Word, but not the

Bullets in tables
My main problem is that I cannot get the bullets to line up nicely (or at
all) within the cells of a table I've made in Word. I also have one other
weird problem going on in my table: one of the cells writes the text downward
(letter by letter) instead of across. This happens even though the alignment

Table Positioning Help PLEASE!!!
I need some advice on placing tables on a Word document. How do you set them
so that they can float freely around the document for placement, without
affecting the other tables and moving them? Much like how you do so with
graphic images.
What are the settings for positioning or what are the tricks.

Can you number a column in a database and keep it from sorting
I would like to set up a database where I have a number column so that when I
print the database it would print next to the last name and I would know how
many are there without have to go to the dataform each time. As I add new
names and sort the name column the number colunm sorts with the rest of the
database and defeats my purpose. Is there any way to get around this....

How do i add more options inside the drop down box?
I am creating a form (word template) and wanted to use the drop down box
field. Am i able to add multiple company/addresses in a drop down box? (so
instead of having to type in a form box a company/address, i would be able to

Auto number a column in table using SEQ
Hi there
I have created a table and have used the SEQ formula to have a
sequential number in the first column. When I copy the row the SEQ
works fine - i.e. it auto-increments the number. But if I tab through
the row (the last row of the table) and it creates a new row the SEQ is
obviously not there. I can understand the logic of that but is there
some other way of having a sequential numb...

Word 2003 table indentation problem
I'm running Word 2003 (without any service packs) on a Windows XP Pro SP2
system.
My document is currently 97 pages long, with a number of tables on certain
pages.
My problem is, that for no reason whatsoever, Word decided to change the
left indentation of all the tables in my document so that all of them are
0.85cm indented.
