How do I repeat table header rows when the table has section break
Background: I have a document that is a long table that goes on for several pages and has to be form field protected. Unfortuantly, in one part of the document I also have to be able to use bold, italics, underline, etc; which word will not allow in form fields. I had to insert section breaks and only protect certain sections of the document in order to be able to change the font at...

text in tables in word
When I print a document which is on a landscape table in Word XP, the text gets cut off. I have checked the print preview and it looks fine but when the hard copy has printed there are letters missing at the end of each collumn. This is an old document that gets overtyped every month (it has always printed off fine in the past), however I have recently upgraded to XP and think this mig...

How to merge 2 tables and use 1st tables format?
We have a small VBA routine which performs automatic mail merging for some Document Production routines we use in-house and I have stumbled across an issue I can't resolve easily. The application is passed a Word Template name and a data file and performs the mail merge, which works perfectly well. The problem starts with tables. The VBA was written by a previous developer and they took ...

Table loses its no-wrap property
I set a table's text wrapping property to "None" (i.e., no text to the right or left of the table). Then I move the table to try to get it below a certain paragraph. Instead, the intended paragraph appears to the right of the table--the no-wrap property is changed from "None" to "Around." (If I change the wrap property back to None, I'm back to where I started!) Is there any way to m...

Table of contents, web preview
Hi, I have 2 word documents, both using the same .dot template, both have a table of contents, but when I convert them to the PDF (using 3rd party tool), one has the links in blue underligned, and the other also has the links, but they appear as normal text (which is what I want). If I go to the Index and Tables window, I can see that the web preview appears to have the links underligne...

Corrupt Tables of Contents
I am new to shared workspace. Whenever anyone opens files with tables of contents they all have the same number page all the way down the table. The only way to fix it is to open the file, copy to hard drive, delete original, open saved copy, reindex table and resave to workspace. It will corrupt each time you open it and it happens across the board with all users. Has anyone seen this p...

Last row of table on a page does not display bottom border
I have a table that spans accross multiple pages in Word 2003. I have the table properties set to not allow a row to break accross mulitple pages. The last row of page three (of 5) of the table will not display the border on the bottom of the row. I checked the borders setting for the row and each cell, and they are all correct. I closed the document and re-opened it and it's still n...

Maintaining HTML links to other folders in sent documents
I have a small personal collection of "stuff." My inventory is maintained as a simple table in a Word document. Each row is one item. The last column of each row is an HTML link to an image folder that resides outside the document and elsewhere on my computer. Clicking the link takes you to the image of that item so you can see what it looks like. As long as I am on my computer th...

Graphics and tables
I am currently using Word 2003. I have a large document which has a table within it. I am trying to insert graphics which float over the table, this hasn't been a problem with previous versions. Since Word 2003, I sometimes receive document drafts from authors where the tables have extra spacing in some or all of the rows. Under default cell margins, I have set top and bottom margins to 0. This has no effect on the extra spacing. ...
