Page Numbering
I have a doucment with four sections (all of which have section breaks).
The first section is using page numbers i, ii etc.
The second section is using page numbers 1 of 10, 2 of 10 etc (I am using
the SECTIONPAGE) command.
I want the third and fourth sections to be combined for page numbering. So
if there are 10 pages in section 3 and 5 pages in section 4, I want the page
numbering...

Can I automatically repeat a border on all pages
I want to put a border on the edge of all the pages in my document. Is there

Missing pages in Print Layout
I created a new document having 3 pages of text. I can view all 3 pages
except in Print Layout view. In that view, there is only one page. Changing
the white space toggle didn't help. Suggestions?

Attached Envelope should not be counted as a page for {NUMPAGES}
When an envelope is added to a document it is counted as a page as far as
{NUMPAGE} is concerned. So if there is an envelope and 2 pages, the footer
says "Page 0 out of 3, PAGE 1 OUT OF 3 AND Page 2 out of 3. Not good for
legal documents that need to tell the total number of real pages. Suggest
that the envelope not be counted as a page by {NUMPAGE}

why is my normal,dot no longer 8 1/2 x 11.
In Print layout View, my page is no longer 8 1/ x 11. Page setup says it is
and if I view header and footer, the document changes back to 8 1/2 by 11....

I need to set pitch9, ,23 lines on a page. any idea's anyone
Does anyone know how to set the pitch to 9 and set to print documents at 25

Word Portrait/Landscape Issue after Patch
We have had several people complain that they are no longer able to print a
Word document in the Landscape format for the past week. This is evidently
related to the recent patches that were released by Microsoft. That is the
only thing that we can think of.

Ca tool tip with more info show when hovering over text?
I need for my Word form to have a "tool tip" type box pop-up when the user
hovers over certain words to provide more information on filling out the
form. Is this possible? If this is not possible with Word, can PDF's do this?

remove template lines from document when sending as email
I just finished my new resume and I would like to send it out as an
attachment. But I can't seem to lose the template guides that surround the
text. When I print it out they disappear but when I send it by email it shows

tabs disconnected from bullets
The tab key has ceased working in two ways: 1) It does not advance to the
next level bullet when I am typing a bulleted list. It just tabs over and
keeps the bullet in the same spot. Resetting the tab spaces in the bullets &
numbers menu does not fix this problem. 2) Shift+tab does not move my
cursor backwards - instead it just moves it forward another tab space. (in

formatting of header
I've formatted the header in my template for a particular font & size,
although when I generate a document based on that template, the header
has a completely different font & size.
What's going on, and how can I fix it? I really wish Word would *stop*
being so damned helpful! :)

Page Numbering - Section X of Y
I have a doucment with two sections and that is a total of 28 pages long.
The first section is the intro and is i, ii etc.
There is a section page break before the next section. I want the next
section to say Page 1 of 26 (so it starts at page 1, and only counts the
remaning pages in the section). If I added a third section with 10 pages, I
would want that section to say 1 of 10 etc.

Printer won't listen to traysettings...
When I set my papertray's the printer doesn't use the right paper.
For example:
I've set the firstpagestray to Papertype 1
and the otherpagestray to Papertype 2
When the printer prints out the document of for example 3 pages it comes out
like:
first page: Blanco papertype
second page: Papertype 1
third page: Papertype 2

My toolbar is completely grayed out, how do I fix?
I am not able to access anything in word. Everthing on the toolbar is grayed

wordpad no easir to read on larger monitor
I have a 19 inch monitor set to 1024x768res on winxp. I did this to
increase my ability to read on the computer screen. HTML auto sizes
page and text to fit the screen and is easy to see without changing
fonts, margins etc. Wordpad only autosizes the frame to fit, nothing
else gets any larger. So documents leave a lot of space to the right of
ruler which in turn makes the documents no easier to r...

Maintain Formatting on First page
I am trying to create a default letterhead for my company. In order to
accomodate our company logo I need to adjust the margins on the first page.
Because the logo does not occur on the following pages, I would like the
margin to revert to the defauls on every following page. I have tried to use
sections to accomplish this, but as you are typing, the section formatting
keeps follwing....
