two-column centering
I'm doing a flyer, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, two to a page. How can I get the right and
left margins to be the same on each flyer? In other words, how can I center
both sides of the page, both columns, so they have the same right and left
margins.
I will print the page and cut in half to create two flyers.
Also, how do I put paper in the printer to get the back side to print
correctly?

Page layout not correct
I have a document that when viewed on most computers it is correct. When it
is viewed on the computer of a new user, the layout is not correct.
Specifically 2 different lines wrap to the next line and they aren't
supposed to. This document is on the server so I know it is the same one
everyone is opening. I have no idea what to check. Any ideas?
Thanks.

So I clicked on something that is addin all kinds of crap when I type. Why
not give us that ability to return all of the word settings to normal can get
rid of any strange functions that we didn't mean to put there.
You know for people that just want to write a letter, but don't want to
spend a bunch of time becoming a computer geek.

MS Word should let me highlight & bold in ONE click
To make text stand out in a document that I'm saving on my hard drive, I can
highlight text with my mouse, then (a) make it bold, then (b) highlight it as
yellow. This requires 2 steps (a and b above), for each text I select with
my mouse, which might be 10 areas or more in a document. You also have to
"Bold" first, then "highlight". If you reverse the order, you have to
reselect the ...

Header spans down too far
I have several documents that have huge headers that span 1/2 way down the
page with no text or empty paragraphs below the actual text within the
header. I tried using the ruler on the left by dragging the marker up, but
that only makes the header span down the entire page and moves my table down.
As it currently stands, my table is behind the expanded header. I'm able to

Numbered Paragraphs, Styles in legal document. Need exorcism.
I'm working on a 150 page legal document that uses the built-in headings to
format Article and Section references. Article 1, Section 2.3, paragraph
2.3(a), etc.
The document does some funky things (it is unstable). Sometimes when I
reapply the formatting, it changes the paragraph indent. If I then undo, it
cleans up the original problem.
Any thoughts or suggestions?...

Numbering paragaphs in an outline list

1.2 Heading 3
1.2.1 Body text
1.2.2 Body text
"Body text" is where the main content of the document is. I can do this with
the Outliner and just make Heading 4 as a simple looking body text style, and
it works fine, but thought there might be a "right...

How to Keep Heading With 'Next', when 'Next' is a column
My heading style includes the paragraph formatting "Keep with Next", however
when the 'next' thing is a column, the heading does not "Keep with Next". I

Before" becuase my document is likely to change. How do I get the "Keep with
Next" to work in this scenario?...

My margins keep resetting themselves at 2.67". Why?
Often, Word resets my margins, either left or bottom, at 2.67". I am given a
chance to fix them, but even if I do, they revert to 2.67".
It becomes a real problem with a large mail merge print run. Lots of wasted
paper that has to be reprinted.
