problems printing a template
I've updated my resume with a template from Office. When I went to print it,
only the lines showed up none of the text. Any ideas?...

can i set up a field that will appear on each new page of a doc?
I want to create a page template that will allow a field to appear at the
bottom on each new page. Footers won't work, because each page needs to have
it's own information that can be updated independently of every other page.

Table Positioning
I have just come accross some strange behaviour in that I accidentaly had a
table style set to Right Alignment. However when I reset a table based on
that style to left alignment it refused to save. Ie when I opened the
document it was still right aligned although for just 1-2 secs it showed as

Printing various-sized pages
I want to ensure that in my 96-page document Word recognizes that page 35 is
an 11 X 17 foldout. What settings --- other than loading tray 2 with 11 x 17

footers not updating in merged/saved document
After merging a document and saving to a new location, why doesn't the
file/pathname update in the footers? Can you tell me how to do this or am I
out of luck and have to replace all footers in all sections.

Page set up as letter. But view chopped off at top and bottom marg
I'm having a problem with my default word page that comes up each time I open
Word. Firstly, I keep getting windows up asking me if I want to disable the
macros for the document. Then, the view doesn't reflect the page size the doc
is set up for (letter).
The print view if OK but the document I edit is chopped off at the top and

adjust space between body and footnote seperator
In a large doc with a number of footnotes the seperator is placing itself
different distances from the body. I need to have all the seperators default
to the same distance from the body of the text throughout the entire
document. Any suggestions? I'm having the same issue with the footnotes
beneath the seperator as well....

Keep lines together not quite what I need

I am working on an instruction manual using a numbered list. Some of the
instructions use part numbers that contain a dash. When one of the
instruction numbers breaks across a line (or page), it is breaking up the

Can't Resize Header Space
Word 2003. 2-page document with one simple table in it. I added a header
with 2 lines of text. Page 1 header looks fine. Page 2 header takes up
nearly half the page. I've checked and there are no paragraph markers in it.
There is 1 paragraph marker at the top of the header and bunch of space

Identifying a wmf file
Hi all
Is there any way in VBA to scan a document and indentify the various image
file types in the doc.
I am wanting to do this so that I can carry various tasks on various files
types.
For instance:-

My Pasted Images are not showing up???
When I paste a Screen shot image (or any other image from the clipboard)
into a Word Document I can see it just fine, then if I scroll up or down and
then go back to the image its invisible. its still there I can see it
selected, but its just the same color as the page.
If I type in front of the image, it shows up as well as the others on the
page.

Text is only readable in Web Layout View
Good day everyone,
I have a client who can only read his Word documents now in Web Layout View.
When he changes it to Normal, Print or any other view the majority of his
text becomes small garbled text that is all clumped together on the left side
of the page. Each paragraph appears to be seperated as well.
