Please help set up page size 67mm x 105mm
This is my second time to post this question and I have no success at all!. I
want to create a word document page size 67mm x 105mm. I have tried
everything but I continually get an error message reguarding colum size??
Please could someone help me and maybe give me a step by step guide how to do
this? ...

Picture Positioning
Why does Word allow pictures to go into the footer area of the page if the
"move picture with text" option is selected and I add text before the
picture? When I've got pictures get low on the page, I need to manually
insert carriage returns to force that picture to jump to the next page. That
screws up my formatting if I end up having to take a paragraph out or add
some more.

When I press enter, the next paragraph is at 9.8" not 1.1"
On any new document, the next line following a return is not following the
document it's at 9.8 not 1.1 After each return the text just moves up until

cannot turn off auto format options for styles
I have a large document consisting of a number of different styles throughout
and am experiencing two major problems:
1.) When I attempt to change the formatting of certain text items within the
file, 99% of the time Word changes the style throughout the entire document.
Often this maxes out my CPU utilization and crashes Word. I've tried removing
any AutoCorrect options I could find, how...

2007 Beta Avery
it looks like the Beta 2007 Word has converted my files to, maybe, Word Pad?
I can no longer print my Avery labels because it has rearranged the margins.
I can't find a set up for the Avery labels, and now I am in a jam. What
happened and how can I fix it?

True parallel columns in Word
I finally have to produce a document that uses parallel columns in Word - one
side in English, the second side in French. In reading how to do this, the
only option appears to be through the use of linked Text Boxes, which is a
particularly ugly solution.
A far more elegant (and simple) solution would be allow the definition of

Is "notebook layout" available on PC?
My husband's school recently received a grant for new Mac computers and in
playing with his I have really come to like the "notebook layout" view
available on Mac Word. Is this available somehow on the PC and I am just not

I can't print in portrait, even after changing page orientation
It should be so simple. When I select the portait orientation in the page
set up and the pull down print menu, I get the following pop up message
"increasing right margin causes last column to become too narrow in some
sections having unevenly spaced columns". But I don't have columns on the
page. This happens when I open a brand new document.
Can anybody help me!!

Outside printable area problem
I have created a Word document that WAS printing fine. I am using 8.5 x 11
paper and my margins are top: 1.00", bottom: 1.00", left: 1.25", right:
1.25". The page consists of shapes, lines, and text boxes. All are above
the 1" bottom margin.
I then added a header and a footer and changed the footer margin to .25
instead of .5.

when I format a line of text, the lines above lose format
when I try to change format on a line of text, some of the text lines above
move to the left margin or use of indent causes most lines to move to the

Cannot restore Word defaults
Recently when I open Word the page is a mess; no margins, can't

Stop numbering in booklet format - last page to be back cover
I have a document that is in booklet format. I would like the last page to

PAGE LAYOUT - MARGIN IS AT TOP LEFT EDGE OF PAGE
When I open a new document, the cursor appears at the very edge of the top of
the page instead of showing it at 1". If I "view headers and footers" and
then close, the problem goes away and the margin shows in the actual position

Hi,
I need to create a Word template based on our company brand. I have
been given exact measurements for where to put the address and logo
etc..
Is there a way to set the position of image/text to a particular
height. For example, using tabs i can put text '35.5mm from left'.
But I can not see how to put it '65.5mm from top'. Obviously i have

the ruler does not extend to the right page edge
There is an inch of white space to the right of a document that will not
format. The ruler at the top of the page stops at 7.5 inches, instead of
extending to the 8.27 inches it should be for A4.
Printing takes the missing inch into account, which offsets all the text on
the page, but refuses to use it for the print image, which means that the
text image is reduced. This is really wei...

i am working on work document and i find out that sometimes the separator of
the footnot is short and sometimes is very long extend to the end of the page
