convert TOC to regular text
In a Microsoft press book named Microsoft Word version 2002, Inside Out,
there are instructions on page 260 about how to convert a TOC into regular
text by using Ctrl+Shift+F9 (I assume you'd need to have the TOC selected
first, although the instruction doesn't state so). Anyhow, nothing happens
when I do this. I would find this a useful tool.

landscape page quirk in portrait layout
I used section breaks to add two landscape pages in two different spots in a
portrait document. The first landscape one went in fine; the second one had a

Page Break gets Heading 1 style
When I insert a page break on a line that is formatted with Heading 1
style, the page break itself becomes Heading 1 style. How do i stop
this from happening. It seems like I need to enter another line
between the page break and the heading, and then format that as normal.
Problem is that there is then a blank space at the top of the page.
Anyone have any ideas?

List numbering loses indent
I'm using Word 2003 Version 11 and when I use numbered indents, the first 2
numbers indent just fine. Then the 3rd number goes back to the original
margin location. Subsequent numbers stay out at the margin and don't indent.
If I backspace the line up to the previous line and press return then the
indent takes.

Autonumbering aligned to the right of the column
I would like to autonumber formulas in my document. The formulas appear each
on one line (centered in this case), and the autonumber should appear to the
right of each formula, right-justified to the right of the column. Is this
possible and in that case how?
Ex:

insert picture file
When I go to Insert/Picture/From File to insert a picture from My Pictures
into a document, instead of My Pictures opening so I can see the pictures, a
list of all of the names of pictures that are in My Pictures comes up. For a

Help with Styleref field in footer?
Hi, I inserted a styleref field in my footer to pick up Heading 1. It works
great except for in 2 of my document's sections. In these 2 sections, the
Heading 1 text shows up on the first page of the section, but not on the
subsequent pages. I checked page setup to make sure that "different first
page" was not checked.
In both cases, the second page of the section contains a table ...

headers/footers gone + I see several pages at once instead of one

How can I put 2 textdoc's in columns next to eachother in 1 doc ?
I have one document with a Latin text and one with my translation. Now I want
to put them in two columns next to eachother. But when I let Word make
columns, it decides for me what to put in which column and I don't want that.
I have already tried to put the text in textboxes, but this was not possible
since there are footnotes in the text.
