Where is "Style Area Width" setting in Word Beta?
This feature, if it still exists, is well hidden in Word Beta 2. I can't
seriously use Word without it and have had no luck for months in finding it.
It's the feature that allows a user to see what style is being used....

A4/Letter Resizing
Word 2003 –
Suddenly, when I print ANY Word 2003 document to my HP4500 printer, the text
is cut off on the left/right margins and the top/bottom text does not adhere
to my page margin settings. It almost seems that it (“it†being either Word
2003 or the printer) is trying to print on A4 paper size. FILE/PAGE
SETUP/PAPER SIZE is set to letter. Any ideas?

How can i set up a calendar-folded book?
Dear Friends,
I have a book of 300 pages (created in Word) that i want to set up like a

Table Default - Automatically Resize to Fit Contents
Word 2003 – Is there a way to turn off “automatically resize to fit
contents†as the default setting when creating a new table? I know how to do
it manually (TABLE / TABLE PROPERTIES / TABLE / OPTION / AUTOMATICALLY RESIZE
TO FIT CONTENTS), but I would like to permanently turn it off for new tables.
Thanks.

Why can't you start line numbering in word 2003 at 33001
We are automatic numbering a document but we specifically want to start the
numbering at 33001 but it keeps telling us that the start number has to be
between 1 and 32767 - if we start the numbering at 32766 it will allow us to
keep numbering indefinitely but it won't allow us to start at 33001. Any
suggestions?

page errors in booklets
Hi Word Gurus,
I'm using Word 2002 to print a booklet, 4 pages per booklet. This is a
400-page manuscript I will bind into a book.
Pages 1 and 4 appear on the first sheet, 2 and 4 on the back, 5 and 8 on
sheet 2, 6 and 7 and sheet 2 back, etc. I successfully did this, but Word
often got confused about the pages. For example, when I printed pages
289-296, I wanted

Fixing a page or frame in place whilst text moves around it
This is really two questions in one but here we go:
I am putting my thesis together and want to include figures in the main
document so that page numbering is correct. I want each figure
(including caption) to be on its own, otherwise blank, page. However I
may do a lot of editing in the future so ideally I want to be able to
fix the fig&caption in place on page... let's say page 10 and have ...
