Unwanted toolbar
Hi,
Does anyone know how to get rid on an unwanted toolbar?
I know how to right click >> select toolbars but my Adobe PDF maker
keeps popping up on every new document (even when I've deleted it using
the above routine). I've checked out Word's STARTUP folder and there's
nothing in there.
I use a personalised toolbar to keep as much white space on the page as
possible and this is ...

Problem Printing Envelope
I am using Word 2003. I want to print an envelope of a custome size (5 1/2H
x 7 3/4W) with just a person's name centered (e.g. "Joe Jones"). I created a
new document with those dimensions and then keyed in the name and centered
it horizontally and vertically but print preview shows an empty page and
when I print, the printer starts up but never prints anything?

Nudge Increments
I have a document created by someone else. They appear to have used some
Autoshape lines and I want to be able to nudge them in smaller increments
than I can now. Is there some option that I can change.

Template Protection
Hello there,
A simple Question really, i have applied a protection to a template document.
Is it possible that all documents opened from this template have the same
protection as the template itself?

Turning off balloons in WORD
When rolling the pointer over a list of files to open (in Word), the balloon
pops up describing the type of file, and all sorts of information.
I find it distracting and sometimes annoying.
Is there some way to turn off the balloons? I have read "HELP" and can't
seem to find the answer.
I am using WORD 2000, SP-1

Keyboard shortcuts for user-created macros?
Is there a way to see in Word exactly what keyboard shortcuts I have
created and assigned to what macros? I have several macros I've
created, some I use often, and some only semi-regularly. I've
accumulated enough that I've forgotten what a few of the shortcuts
are. Is there a way to view, in MS Word, a list of my keyboard

How do you protect a form and allow the spell check to be used?
I am trying to create forms for my private mental health counselor agency.
The forms are things that I will be using on my computer. I created a format
and used the text fields and then protected the form. I have found that when
the form is protected, the spell check does not work. It only seems to work
when the document is unprotected. Is there a way to keep the form protected

Thai fonts
I have a problem about installtion of Thai fonts .
I bought a notebook in Taiwan because I'm living there now but my native
language is Thai. Therefore, I need at least 3 to 4 languages Chinese,

Troubleshooting already installed Microsoft Office 2003
I had installed my microsoft office version 2003. And from what I thought it
took. But when I went to go type my paper in Word, I received again a request
for my name, initials, organizaiton and the registeration key. So I

how to disable paste of styles within Word 2000
I paste text into word 200 all the time that already has some funcky
style, like the text is green or something. It always happens when
pasting from IE. Is there any way to turn this off in Word 2000 so
that I only get the text? Right now I "clean" it by pasting into
Notepad, cutting it and pasting it into Word. I am hoping there is an
easier way!

Turning off user info balloon
When I scroll down a list of documents in "File- Open" the pop-up
information "balloons" become a nuisance.
Is there a way to turn them off? I have read and re-read "help", but
apparently do not understand what I'm reading.

Microsoft Word Not Responding

dissertation doldrums
Dear All
It's dissertation submission time and I am having a headache trying to
calculate the word count in word. Does anyone know of a way to exclude
tables from the word count? I have resorted to cutting and pasting the
tables out of the document and then doing the count before importing
them back. Dull but effective.

Hi!
Is there a way to tell a printer to print in case there is a odd-number
of pages in previous section to print the first page of the next
section on a new pice of paper and not on the back side of the last
page of the previous section ?

form field like i've seen with other documents but no one i know knows how to

microsoft image writer
What is it? I've never encountered this before and it's driving me
nuts. It pops up on random pdfs or docs which I try to print and only
allows me to save as .mdi. In other cases, it pops up but I have
choices and can choose my own printer and it doesn't change the
extension from .doc or .pdf to .mdi. If I say OK to saving as .mdi, I

How do I recover text I see in normal view but not in print view?
I have text that I can see in normal view but when I switch to print view, I
can not see it. I am working in a long document with a table and a header.

missing dlls
Last month I was receiving messages saying I had 2 specific MSSpell dlls
missing. After some searching I have
discovered this has apparently something to do with proofing tools in the
wrong language.
Luckily someone gave me the solution and I had fixed it, I thought.
