date plus one day for different pages of document
Hiya,
Is there any way I can enter a future date on the first page of a document
and have it automatically fill in the date of the next day on each subsequent
page.
I am a complete beginner so it would help if any explanations are simple.

multiple hyphens extending to end of line
Word 2003 SP2
When I type in 3 or more hyphens or equal signs & press Enter, they
become non-breaking & go all the way across the line. How to stop this?
Are those en & em dashes, respectively?
Further, in one document, every time I now paste, the
full-line-non-breaking-equal-sign is placed above the insertion, but if
I do Paste Special / Unformatted Text, it doesn't do this. How to get

Versions of Word
Three of us are updating a monthly newsletter. When I receive their copies
via emails I see things differently to them and vice versa.
For example, a text box will overflow when I see it but they create it and
see it correctly. If I change the lines in a table making them draw lines
instead of typed ones and move them around slightly to line them up they see

File, Edit, View Tools, Etc. . . .
Help!
I am using Microsoft Word 2003. Somehow my entire menu bar is gone. The
only things that are left are Edit, View and Tools but when I click on them
nothing comes up. How do I get everything back to how it was?

autotext field not automatically toggling
When i run a word doc with autotext the fields do not automatically
toggle
i would have to manually toggle the field each time i open the doc
is there a setting for this?

error message in Word
In Word,when I am on an address the "i" dropdown shows up and I click it and
in there is "add contact". When I click on it I get this error message "Word
cannot open Outlook or has encountered difficulties". I already had Outlook
open on my computer so I don't know where the problem is....

can you format a document after you have already typed it????
I TYPED UP DOCUMENTS FOR WORK USING WORD, WHEN I FINISHED I SAVED THEM TO MY
FLOPPY, THEN TRIED TO PRINT THEM OUT, SOMETHING POPPED UP ON THE SCREEN
TELLING ME MY DOCUMENT WERE NTO FORMATTED, DID I WANT TO FORMAT?? WHAT I

Custom dictionary full? What to do?
I got a message that my custom dictionary is full and I cannot add more
words.
What can I do about this? Hard to believe that the word limit is so low.

Upgrading Word
I have Word 2002 in one computer and Word 2007 (Beta) in another.
Now I have acquired Word 2003 (The full version)
1) Do I have to uninstall 2002 before installing 2003, or will the
installation procedure take care of that?
2) Can I install 2003 and keep also 2007? If yes, what do I need to do to
make sure that 2003 does not interfere with 2007?

COMPLETELY protecting a Word document
Is it possible to completely protect a Word document? I have a document that
I need to send to someone and I would like to make it so they are only able
to read it. No printing, no cutting of info to paste in thier document, etc.
etc. Is this even possible? I have protected it from the Tools menu but
that only keeps track of what changes were made. I have also made it a

but I can not open them with my other computer using Mirosoft Word 2003. My

bold numbering but not body text
Hi. I am trying to bold 4 out of 8 automatic numbers. As well I want
just the first 4 numbers bold, not the text that follows. Everything I
have tried ends up in all of the numbers bolded, and it also bolds the
text. Can someone please let me know what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

How do I reset sections of bullets for a whole document?
I have a document with 120 pages. each page has a section of bulletted items.
The pages are separated by Page Breaks.
I am using alphabetical bullets.
Word is acting like it is one continuos document.
I end up with:
WWWW.
XXXX.
YYYY.
ZZZZ.
Instead of :
A.
B.
C.
D.
which I want on each page
How do I reset my document so each pages' bulletted sections start with A....

Forms trouble- locking only one section, leaving second section unlocked for text entry
I'm corresponding with another user, trying to help him design a survey. He
is using the forms toolbar, and has put a bunch of checkboxes (in a table)
in section 1, followed by a continuous section break that includes a few
questions for free text entry by the respondents.
When locking the form, it doesn't provide the option to only lock section 1,
so the whole form ends up locked and when ...

When I installed W97 on Word 98 in my D Partition, I used it for years. Then
I got WXP on Partition H.
Because BB was installed on Partition D in the file D:AAMSSTP/APP, I was
able to use it with WXP.
A few months ago I cleaned out a lot of folders and seems I deleted
something I need for BB. I went back on W98 and put the W97 disk in and I
can get BB if the Disk is installed. However...

Hello,
I have a word document with a big amount of phone numbers, there al like
xx.xx.xx. The problem is that the zone number (056) has to be added. So
77.88.99 has to become (056)77.88.99. How can I ad (056) to the numbers in
one time. Maybe with the find replace function?
