Configure "Send as Attachment"
Every time I try using "Send as Attachment" in Word 2000, it asks me a series
of questions as if I am opening a new email account (even though it is not a
new account).
Can anyone help walk me through this process, a I am not sure how to answer
some of the questions it asks me.

Printing Labels
Hi
I am trying to print off 60 sheets of labels. I have imported the data from
Excel using Mail Merge and all appears fine.
The moment I press print the printer just locks up. Thinking it might be a
memory problem with the printer I have tried selecting pages 1 - 5 to see
if this makes any difference but exactly the same thing happens.
The only solution I have come up with to date ...

VBA code to execute for a subsequent mail merge
Hello, All!
My outlook 2k3 contact form is the default. The contact names take the form
of Full Name made up of First Name and Last name. First name for a husband
and wife is of the form "Jack & Jill". I need, in a mail merge to be able to
separate this field into two fields if the & exists in the First_Name field.
I was hoping I could do in using Word's IF...Then... Else but I can't.

replace format (subscript)
Is it possible to do the following:
I would like to change "O2" to
O<subscript> 2</subscript>
I can only change the whole word "O2" to
<subscript> O2 </subscript>
If I just replace "2", I will run into trouble because the whole document
has a lot of numbers.

Headers to Acrobat bookmarks
I have Adobe Acrobat and I can convert MS Word documents to pdfs.
On several documents that others have created, all headers become
bookmarks. On one that I created, header1 and header3 become bookmarks,
but header2 does not.
What should I look for?...

the spell check says that "spell check is complete" even though there are

Unneeded Space in Cells
I set the table properties to adjust the column width fro the content
but when I enter data Word 2003 seems to leave a great deal of unneeded
space in the cell. This is not a problem with just a few columns but if
there is a large number of columns, the cells on the right get squeezed
very narrow or get pushed beyond the margin on the page. I tried using
a fixed width but the extra space rema...

Extend selection?
I want to start a search from the insertion point and extend the
selection from that point to the found item. That is, all the text from
the start point to the found item will be selected. (It's called extend
selection in the WP context, where I come from.)

Automating color on specific text.
Hi,
I have many lists of numbers typed into a Word 2000 document.
Each specific number needs to be one of 3 colors (Red, Black
or Green). So, what I what I would like to do is find a way to
use something like a "search and replace" to alter some of
the current numbers, which are all Black, and change them to
either Red or Green depending on the specific number.
Very, very tedious to do...

Erratic printer behavior.
I am trying to format a document for a

Creating Web Pages using Word
I'm a Mac user - I have Office 2004, I guess that means nothing to PC
users, but I use Word to create web pages, and will do so until I can
get something good and proper. I would use FrontPage except there is no
Mac version.
This may just be a Mac thing, but no matter what font I choose, some
letters appear screwed up ....I 've tried a number of fonts. I would
like to use Arial or Veranda ...

Auto Correct
Hi
Am using Word 2003 on my pc at work. Have just got myself a laptop with Word
2003 pre-installed.
Is it possible to copy my custom dictionary and auto correct settings from,
the pc to the laptop. If it is possible how can it be done?

how do i use the 'fill in' function on a word doc?
i cannot get the fill in function to work on a word doc. basically i need
to send a standard letter to different people. instead of typing in a
different address and printing out each letter individually etc i wanted to
