The main difference between the two documents is the screen shots. Currently I have the screen shots for customer A in folder A, and the screen shots for customer B in folder B. Section 2: has two columns under section 1, and takes about a 1/2 page. Both these sections take up no more than 3/4 of an upright page. However in print view I have two pages showing. Word 2002, Win 2k pro 25 page doc, mostly text. Heading styles are all set to 'keep with next', no other styles do. However- I see a heading 3 at the bottom of a page, apart from the following paragraph, which is a 'List 2' style. Any ideas why that heading isn't on the same page as its following paragraph? Is there a way to update all fields in a document EXCEPT FOR the embedded graphics files? We have a document with embedded graphics that's going to 2 different customers. Every time we update the document for cross-references, etc., the embedded graphics revert back to the embedded graphics for the OTHER customer. At my work, they have created a template with unique styles and named it Normal.dot. Would Word replace this revised template with it's own? I've set up heading styles according to the recommended method on these boards. All of my style documents are templates. Some users are trying to amend the paragraphs manually. I've had a couple of occasions where users seem to have clicked and dragged something to make the indent of the numbered paragraphs change. I've had to go into the style formatting and modify it to fix it but I haven't been able to replicate the problem to explain it properly. Total size when comined will be about 9 meg. Word 2000 won't let me. After I insert 2-3 documents, save, close, and reopen, and try to insert document 4, i get a message saying "too many edits in the document." The document is in Word 2000, the printer is an HP 4250. I have the margins set to 1.5" on the inside and 1" on the outside. It prints them as something like 1.4" and 1.1". Hi, I was suprised that suddendly brackets have been set arround some texts like: [These ......customer.] I can not remove the brackets. The brakets have 1/2 the colour of the font.
