Why is my Clip Art malfunctioning?
In my job working at a nursery school, I use Clip Art fairly frequently when
I make flyers. I came in this morning, and all of a sudden when I search for
something in Clip Art, it comes up with very few or no results. I did a
search on things I've used in the past that have come up with many, many
results ("picnic", "sun", etc.) and they come up with no results. Now, I KNOW

Word 2003 should let me nudge objects 1 pixel at a time.
Word 2002 allowed me to nudge objects by using the arrow keys and they would
move 1 pixel at a time. Word 2003 nudges -- and sizes -- them about 5-7
pixels at a time. It's impossible to fine tune the position of an object on
a page. I've tried Word help and online help to see if I can change the size
of the movement but have found nothing. It's really frustrating!

Blue drawing object prints as yellow

Resetting picture after removing crop or size adjustment?
I deal with reports that can contain photos taken by, shall we say,
"non-professional" photographers. Due to concerns about the integrity of
photographic data, there is only so much I am allowed to do to a photo. I

Copy and pasting an image on multiple pages not consistant
Hello:
MS Office 2003
MS Word
I placed a graphic (jpg) at position .22 X .22 relative to the page. I then
copied it and pasted it to page 2 but it doesn't place it in the same
position. It's new position is .39 X .39. If I continue copying, the
following occurs.
Page 3 - .55 X .55
Page 4 - .72 X .72
Page 5 - .89 X .89
Page 6 1.05 X 1.05

Naive textbox user
I want to print text on the back of photos that have been processed by
a photolab. However, the photolab already prints the order number and
other data on the back of the photos.
I naively assumed that if I first printed a filled text box on the back
of the photo, it would effectively white-out (or gray-out) the existing
text and I could then print the text I needed.

ClipArt --- Illegal Operation
greetings to all,
I installed a new printer just now and thought I would try out its
colour printing capabilities..... my first thought was to fire up Word
and grab something from ClipArt and see how it came out.
But, each time I went to the Insert Menu & then Pictures & then ClipArt, I
got the usual "this program has performed an illegal operation" etc etc.

Word 2003 versus Word 97 - Graphic on Envelope
I used Word 2003 to create an envelope with a logo for an organization I
belong to. The format is the graphic logo to the left with the return
address just right of that. I've been using OK without any problems, as long
as I'm using Word 2003.
When I tried to share with another member of the organization, who was using
Word 97, the logo kept on jumping up or down above the address. ...

Setting the alignment of pictures relative to paragraph text.
All
When I insert a Microsoft equation or MathType equation into Word, the
equation is 'in line with the text' and is CENTER aligned with the text.
When I insert any other type of object 'in line with the text', it is BOTTOM
aligned with the text.
How do I CENTER align the other objects?
As there are several hundred other objects to align, manually adjusting the
character spacing...

I can't get check boxes to line up
How can I enter check boxes (these are for a printed document only, not for
online enteries) in my document that will line up and stay there? I seem to
have tried everything and they never line up perfectly down the page. Tried
nudging, floating object allienments, I just don't know.

When I try to paste a picture into word, all I get is a blank box
When I try to paste a picture from an internet website, all I get is a blank
box, and this is very frustrating. The same thing happens with powerpoint. I
read another post similar to mine, and is said to go to Tools... Options...
and make sure to check drawing instead of pictures. I did all of this and
nothing has changed... Someone please help me!!!...

Autoshapes do not snap exactly to grid, but close
I have layed out a work area in 2 files where autshapes snap to grid. When I
open these files everything looks great. Now when I open a new file, the
autoshapes only come close to the grid lines. Autoshapes are spaced
properly, but they do not line up. I have reinstalled Office 2003 and this
did not help. How can I correct this?...

Graphics and Text
What is the best way of making graphics not editable, but making text
editable in Word? i. e. a flyer with non-editable graphics, but with text
boxes that can be edited. My guess is, paste the graphic without text boxes,
then add text boxes on top. Related question... Does anyone know of a way of
creating a macro with fill-in boxes that will fill in with specific Fonts,
etc. for above...

How to make chart show in print-lay out mode
In my word 2003, my graphs and charts could not show in print-lay out mode,
just appearing as boders with empty inside. However, the graphs and charts
could be shown in print preview as well as reading layout mode. My print
