Show "Comments" in a Deltaview or Word Compare
I am trying to run a comparison, both with Deltaview and with Word's Merge
and Compare. I want to be able to show all the changes, which I already know
how to do, but this is the first time someone wanted "comments" to be
included in the comparison. Is this even possible. My only suggestion was
to run the comparison and then just insert the comments. Any ideas?...

Can Word open where I left off, not at beginning of file?
I am revising a lengthy manuscript in Word 2003, and every time I open the
file, the cursor is set at the top of page 1. How can I get Word to remember
where the cursor was when the file was last saved and open the file at that
point rather than at the beginning of the file?...

How do I recover the latest version of an unsaved (by choice)file
Is there anyway I can find the most up-to-date version of a word document
that I accidentally did not save. When it prompted me I hit 'no' to save. I
thought I was closing a different document.
Now only the original is listed :(...

Copying 200 default rows from excel print 74 only in word.
Hi,
When I Copy (all) my 200 rows from Excel and paste them as picture into
Word, Word prints the first 74 rows only. The rest of the 200 rows disappear
from Word!! When I however use copy picture at Ecxel(with shift/edit), I can
paste the whole 200 rows but all appear very compressed in one page of word
(tiny font).
Is there a possibility to copy the 200 rows 1-to-1, i.e. the 200 row...

Cross References and switches
I'm using Word 2003, SP 2, and I'm having problems with one X-reference. At
the beginning of each chapter, I insert a X-reference to each Header 2 in
that chapter. (The chapter name and number are Heading 1.)
The problem is that when I convert the doc to PDF using Adobe Acrobat (Ver 7

Insert>>Cross reference... mergeformat by default??
I use a lot of cross references and after I've inserted them, I apply a
character style to show that they're active links when I generate a PDF of
the document. It's a real pain in the patoot having to tweak each inserted
cross reference to add the mergeformat. Is there any way I can make sure
that my inserted cross references always have the mergeformat option enabled
by default??

Formatted Normal-style text automatically converts to heading
I have Word 2000 on Windows XP. We are using heading styles (H1, H2, etc.)
in our reports of Trebuchet MS, right justified. Word is automatically
converting Normal-style text into a Heading when I manually apply formatting
(bold, font size, etc.) that matches an existing heading style. These lines

Replacing with wingding
I tried to find/replace an asterisk with a wingding symbol, but it comes up a

I saved a scanned text in MS Word . It will not do a spell check.
I have scanned a text, using Omnipage and then saved the text as a Word doc.
I have added to the text but I find that spell check will not work. It
alsways comes up with "The spelling check is completed".
Spell check works with all other documents.
Any recomendation?

prints symbols
I am attempting to print a form someone else created and it is not printing
as it appears on the screen. The screen shows boxes on the form (not check
mark form field boxes, they look like symbols) but when the document prints,
it prints a symbol of an apple in place of the box. How do I correct this?...

X of Y pagination defaults to X of X when printed
I've set the document I'm working on to have Page X of Y put in the footer of
each page. The document is divided into three sections. When reviewing the
document in page layout mode, it correctly shows 1 of 11, 2 of 11, etc. When
I print the document, however it prints with each page showing 1 of 1, 2 of
2, 3 of 3, etc. up to the document length of 11 pages. I've no idea how to

How I set up a form so I input information using data form icon?
In the forms toolbar there's an option called data form. I have used this
