I was just wondering if there is a specific way that auto text enties have to
be named. for example we are creating auto text that is styled with one of
styles that we created. And as long as when i name it in auto text i put a
space after the name it will work?? is this a known problem?? Any help would

Endnote numbering
I am working with a manuscript with 4 chapters. The endnotes are working
fine for chapter 1 and 2. However, chapter 3 has the end notes starting with
the same numbers as the last one in chapter 2 ( lxi) and then every endnote
for the rest of the chapter is the same number. Chapter 4 the numbering goes
back to normal. The numbering issue only appears in the endnote text area.

How do I reset sections of bullets for a whole document?
I have a document with 120 pages. each page has a section of bulletted items.
The pages are separated by Page Breaks.
I am using alphabetical bullets.
Word is acting like it is one continuos document.
I end up with:
WWWW.
XXXX.
YYYY.
ZZZZ.
Instead of :

B.
C.
D.
which I want on each page
How do I reset my document so each pages' bulletted sections start with A....

Viewing the entire XML error message.
I have the task pane open and I have switched to the XML Structure view.
When I have a node that is signialing an error in the 'Elements in the
document' pane, I right click on it to view the advanced xml error message.
Unfortunately, the entire message is not displayed.
It is too long to show up in the space provided. Is there anyway to see the
entire message?...

hyperlinks in word viewer 2003
Is it possible to configure the word viewer 2003 to follow hyperlinks without
having to press ctrl all the time. I am evaluating the use of a word based
document control and view system as an alternative to our existing Adobe PDF
system and the one big problem is having to press CTRL all the time to
navigate. Any help would be greatly appreciated....

We're recruiters. Before we send a Word resume to a client we add a nicely
formatted heading "paragraph" at the top with our company name and byline.
The heading "paragraph" has grey shading in the background.
It looks good except the grey background degrades if the resume is printed
and later copied or scanned.

When I add new macros to a word document, then save the document and close
word; I receive a message that states "Word cannot save changes to the global
template because it was opened with read-only access. Do you want to save

in publisher you can have a document print multiple times if the document
size is defined smaller than the printer paper available... for example, a
5.5 x 8.5 document as defined in page setup could print twice on a single
sheet of paper 8.5 x 11 that is commonly loaded in the printer. Any chance

section number appearing in TOC with page numbers
we have generated a TOC and from sections 1-7, the section number appears,
then a dash, then the page number - which is not the way we want it to
appear. Then from section 8 onwards, in the TOC, only the page number is
displayed. This is what we want for the entire TOC.
How do we get rid of the section number from the earlier part of the TOC
(sections 1-7)??
We are using MS Word version ...
