Right to Left text entry should enter the text Right to Left
When entering RtL text in Word it does not correctly enter the text in a
Right-to-Left fashion. It is still entering the text in L-to-R mode, just
from the right side of the screen. Here's what I mean:
When I enter normal L-to-R mode, it types 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4.
When I enter R-to-L mode it types 1 <- 2 <- 3 <- 4.

Index Match in Word Table, or Embedded Excel?
Hello there,
Is it possible to use Index/Match in a Word Table, or otherwise return
the formula result from an embedded Excel table to a word document
bookmark/formfield?
I have had a hard time figuring out how to take Word document bookmark

Problems w/resume created in Word 2000
Hi everyone, I previously created my resume using a template in Word 2000
and I am currently using it to send out for employment but now I am using
Word 2003 (trial version downloaded from Microsoft.com). My problem is this:

Why won't Word save my default margins or choice of language?
Recently I bought a new laptop that came with Microsoft Office. However, I
can't get Word to save the margin settings that I want or my choice in
language as "defaults." It seems to work, but then when I start the program
the next day, I have to change them all over again. Please help! Thanks....

how do i stop a word doc from opening auto, when i open word?
When i open word instead of it coming up with a blank document it is
automatically opening a file/document every time. Also when i click on a new

updating a template in use
What happens to existing files using a document template if I replace the
template file with a new file of the same name?
The new template has updated styles. Standard sections are also provided,

Settings to open a file by only writing name it & clicking open bu
For some reason I now cannot open the OPEN dialoge box, type the file name in
the File Name box and just click the OPEN Button. I now have to manually
select the file in the list of files in the Open dialoge box and then click

How do I resize line numbers to a smaller font

re: track changes - manually change default by authors colors
When multiple authors edit a document using track changes and the colors are
by author, how do you change the defaults color selections? For example, the
read and orange are hard to distinguish and I would like to change all orange
edits to neon green, as the document's default so all users see the same
author's edits in the same, manually-chosen color. Any ideas?

could not remove line from word document
Hi all. I am using microsoft word 2003. I received a document with a line in
between my document. I could not remove it by clicking it nor highlighting
it. The line look like the typical line produce by the drawing toolbar.
However when i place the cursor on it, the cursor turns into an arrow
pointing up and down and allow me to drag the line. Is it a line break? What

Signature added to word document (letter)
My word document is comprised of several letters/correspondences. I know how
to add the signature to a single document/letter, but how would I add it to
multiple letters that comprise the entire .DOC File?. Is there a way?. I have

Word field codes and results BOTH appear
This is what is showing up in my Word document:

(only instead of O I am really getting squares)
If I right click, then edit hyperlink, the text shows as xxx@yyy.gov and the

Page doesn't display the right size on screen
Microsoft Office Word, 2003
When Word is started, the page display looks more square than 8-1/2 X 11.
The display is at the top of the window, and text and graphics aren't
positioned right. 8-1/2" X 11" is the selected page size but I can't change

Word 2002 Insert Picture Problems
I have documents I use for training that have JPEG files inserted.
What's happening is:
1. If I click outside of a picture I see a border with no picture.
2. If I click inside of the picture I see the handles only, no picture
and no border.
3. When a picture is selected, I can't resize it by moving the handles.
4. When a picture is selected, the picture toolbar does not become

Put a "Paste special" selection in the right-click menu of Word.
When copying text from one document to another, it gets really gnarly when
the pasted text not only does not come out in the format of the document you
are pasting into but looks nothing like the format from where it was copied.
The only work around is to paste the selection as unformatted text. However,

Copy a template to Windows 98 with Word 97
Hello All,
I'm trying to copy a template (hopefully the new one that contains my 2,000
AutoText entries) from a Windows XP/Word 2002 PC to a Windows 98/Word 97 PC.
First, is copying as simple as locating the template and copying it to a
floppy?

Heading Styles Numbering Problem.
Hello All,
I am creating a framework design document in Word 2003. I have used 4 levels
of headings - Heading 1-4. The first 2 levels display properly whereas the
level
3 and 4 headings appear in a wierd fashion. For example. After 3 (Heading 1)
