spellcheck text form field
Using Word 2002
I have a protected form template that I have inserted the macro below.

The macro works fine for all text not inside a form field <only> when the
document is unprotected. When the document is protected, macros are not
enabled.
Here are my questions:

e-mail hyperlink opens over 50 IE browser windows!
When clicking on an e-mail hyperlink in word (I believe it's word 2003), over
50 IE browser windows opens rather than opening a single e-mail window. This
only occurs with e-mail hyperlinks. Web hyperlinks opens a single IE browser
and links to the correct address.
OS is Windows XP SP2 - Everything is updated in Windows, Office and
antivirus program. No virus. Firewall works.

Losing my Clipboard
I am doing a lot of copying and pasting into mulitple documents. Most of the
time it works, but then other times it doesn't. I can see that I have saved a
piece of text into the clipboard, but then when I click on it to paste it,
nothing happens.
The only thing I can paste is the last thing I copied, and I have to do that
with a CTRL+V.
The only solution I have found, and again it does...

Caption Numbering
I am adding captions to figures and tables in my document. When I open the
Insert|Reference|Caption dialog box it automatically puts the correct caption
number in the top line of the box (i.e. Figure 1-1). However when I insert
that caption in the document it changes to Figure 1-2. This is the first
time i have used captions and I created the document from scratch so i know
there aren...

Error message for Word 2003
Using Windows XP
I recently upgraded from Office 2000 to 2003.
When I open Word I receive the following error message:-
"An error occurred while trying to launch the Remove Hidden Data tool.
Try re-installing."
Tried this without success.
Can anyone advise me on this please?...

Word 2003 locks up when I paste even plain text from IE6
I must have changed a setting in Word or in Internet Explorer. Now when I
copy and paste even plain text from IE to Word, Word locks up. Of course, if
I "Paste Special" and select "Formated Text (RTF)" instead of the default
"HTML format" then it is fine but I never had to do that before. Help! Does
anyone know what I have messed up?...

Formatting in Excel is not merging to Word document. Why?
I am merging a Word document with an Excel spreadsheet. The number in Excel
is defined as currency, however, when it is merged into the Word document, I
am getting a number only, i.e., the number in excel is $5,250.00, but it
merges as only 5250. Why?

Creating a macro using letterhead
Good morning,
Here at my firm we have computer generated letterhead, but here is the
issue. If someone has an existing document without the letterhead, we want
to be able to create a macro that would insert the letterhead information. I
tried to create a macro by copying and them pasting it into a blank document.

encoding problems in Word 2002
I export an Access 2000 report to Word 2002 using Access 2000 Runtime. The
report which has both Romanian and Russian letters looks fine in Access. (I
can view it before exporting it.) However when exported to Word it replaces
certain letter in the Romanian to characters I'm not familiar with and it
makes the Russian become total gibberish. I have tried to change the

Converting Word documents to pdf
I've noticed a problem with converting a Word document that has a shaded text
box in it into pdf format. When viewed with a pdf viewer such as Adobe
Reader, any document with a shaded or coloured text box from Word not only
loads slowly but then scrolls slowly once loaded. I'm using Adobe reader on

TOC won't save changes
I have accepted all changes to my document, updated the table of contents,
saved and closed the document. I can re-open the document and all changes,
including the updates to the table of contents, are correct. However, when I
attempt to email the document (I opened the attachment to make sure all
changes are correct) my table of contents is no longer updated. I don't know
how to correct...

Protect button ghosted and fields won't wrap in form.
I am using Windows XP Word. I have made a form which worked fine about
halfway through the writing of it, but by the time I finished I had two
problems. Firstly, the 'yes, start enforcing protection button' is ghosted.
I can get around this by cutting and pasting the content into a new document,
but as soon as I make any changes it is ghosted again.

hidden edit feature and copying a macro
Hi,
I am trying to copy a print macro but when in Word I go tools\macro\macro
the edit button is disabled\greyed out. Is there a way of enabling the button
so that I can edit the macro?
Also how do go about finding the appropriate print macro?

Change autocorrect from making first letter lower case after tab?
I have been trying to change the auto correct settings to stop making the
first letter of the word lower case after I tab. I need to put a letter "A"
then tab over and the sentence needs to be capital. It sees it as the same
sentence and makes it lower case....
