everytime i change the default languge it goes back to french
i live in france and everytime i change the default language to english it
goes back to french the moment i push the spell check. i have changed the
language in the mircosoft tools and even deleted the french dictionary. grr
anyone can help please...

Line # at the bottom of the document is grayed out
I just installed Word 2003 and even when I am in print view, the line number
at the bottom of the page is grayed out. It might intermittently show up,
but normally it is grayed out. How can I fix this.

Limited Linking of Excel Spreadsheets in Word?
In Office 2000 I was able to create and insert linked Excel spreadsheets of
all different sizes with a catalog pricing update system into a word document.
In Office 2003 when I link a simple speadsheet with only 30 rows and 20
columns into a Word document all I get is the first 10 rows and about 6
columns. Even if I try to expand the excel window all it does is make the

Word 2003 and Access 2000 compatibility
Hi,
I've been using Word2003 and Access2003 successfully for a number of years
now, however, I have recently found that a Word2003 document using an
Access2000 database would not link, I keep getting the error that 'the DDE
connection could not be established'.
However, if I use Word 2000 with the Access2000 database or Word2000 with
Access2003 database these link without any proble...

I can't paste text from another word file into my word files
Microsoft Word 2003. I can't seem to paste text from other Word file into any
my my Word file, i.e. I cannot transfer text from one file into another. I
can copy the necessary text but when I paste, nothing happens. I have not
turned on the Protect Document Function and I have checked to see that it is
not on....

Spell checking is not working properly when Track Changes is on
In MS Word (2000), I have turned on the Track Changes feature with Highlight
changes on screen and Hilight changes in printed document options unchecked.
If I use DELTE KEY to delete characters from a word, when the cursor leaves
the word, the spell checker is NOT WORKING (red wavy underline is not coming)

Pop-up Window
Is there any way that I can create a Pop-up window with an explanation of
information that is needed on a form? I inserted a hyperlink to a web page I
created that contained the directions. That worked, but I would rather have
it be a smaller pop-up so that it doesn't obscure the form.

Saving to Sharepoint
We have an Excel spread sheet which is links to several word documents
through hyperlinks, all the documents are stored in a single sharepoint
library.
We have found that when the word documents are opened from the spread sheet
its no longer possible to save the documents straight to the library, instead
we have to navigate back to the document library through the save menu.

How do I correct a document that was created using a Wizard?
I created a resume using Word's resume Wizard. I forgot to enter a category
on the resume. Is there a way I can go back to the Wizard to correct the
information? Or, do I have to start the Wiizard all over again. I have
tried just entering the text, but that throws-off the rest of my spacing and

I've read every post and everytime I disable do not check spelling or grammar

Caption Numbering Troubles

Send Word 2003 document using Outlook Express
I type my message in Word 2003, click on *send* but it doesn't send. I have
an account already set up in Outlook Express. I click on Accounts in Word
2003 and it shows I have the account, but only the pop3 part of it. I use
another server for smtp. My Outlook Express Accounts show both the pop3 and
smtp but only the pop3 (receiving) configuration shows up in Word 2003.
