NEW Adobe? Toolbar Problem
OLD SAGA:
Somehow I've gotten rid of the Adobe Toolbar from Adobe v6, in
my Word XP on XP Home SP 2. I deleted the startup shortcut for
Acrobat Assistant. I stopped the Acrobat Assistant from running in
the startup list of msconfig. I downloaded and installed ZapAdobe.dot
in the Startup folder and tried to run it. I deleted the Adobe
PDFMaker *.dot files for Word & Excel. I went to the...

Advanced customisation of text / spelling right-click menu
Any help from experts would be greatly appreciated!
I have looked at some of the topics explaining (very clearly) how to
add a menu item to the menu when you right-click on text of a
particular sort (e.g. misspelt words underlined in red). I would like
to take this a step further and was wondering if the following is
possible, and furthermore whether it is possible to make these changes

File fonts have grown
I have XP Home and XP Office
I have three files in the same format, with text and tables. Suddenly one of
them has grown in font size from the normal 12 to about 18 or 20. I did
nothing to change that. The font box at the toolbars still says it is font
12. The other files remain as they were. What can I do to correct this?
TIA

How to set default for View Toolbars in Word
The work that I do (text-intensive) requires the use of Standard & Format &
Drawing toolbars, so I want them to be my default View-Toolbar settings. No
matter how many times I set them, Format & Draw "disappear" so I have to
continuously click on View Toolbars to reset each one. How do I set these to
be the default on my desktop? Note: I also want these 3 toolbars to be the

How to add a file to menu - need to open often
I want to be able to open a file from the menu. This is a file that I use
regularly but not often enough that it always shows up in "recently used"
files. I don't use the Web menu so I don't want to put it in "Favorites."
On my Mac, I can create a "Work" menu and put regularly used files into that
menu. I'm using Office 2003. Is there a way to add a file to a menu?...

Dictionary button not working, sometimes grayed out
Hi,
I can add the "Dictionary" button (it's under Tools) to a toolbar, but
clicking it does nothing. Some of the time it is greyed out. I've tried
this on three machines, with and without text selected. I'm running
Word 2002, and have checked it on machines with and without Service
Pack 1.
Is anyone else able to make this button work?
THANKS!

Tools
I have been trying to figure out how to get tools underneath the icons for MW
2003?
I have given MW 2003 two years to try to learn all I can about it but it has
not been easy to learn how to apply certain features I need for whatever I'm
working on.
MW 2000 was a lot easier to work with.
If anyone can tell me how I can correct this problem I would appreciate it.

Problems with Display
1. When I do a save-as, the system window showing folders takes up the
whole screen. Any ideas on how to restore the original size?
2. When I go to Format, Paragraph, the various lengths are in units of
points (pts). I believe it used to be inches. Any idea how to restore that?
THanks.

Align Left Button
It appears that the Align Left is simply not there on the Formatting toolbar.
The Align Right, Center and Justify buttons are there however. I've searched

menu and it is not in any of these. Might anyone know why it is not there
and/or how it can be restored?

Can't see my blinking cursor in 2007

boundaries showing makes it nearly impossible to see the blinking keyboard
curser when it is along the left margin. It is almost invisible unless you
look really carefully. And I can't see anywhere to darken it, make it
bolder or change its color. I...
