Deleted Menu
Somehow I deleted my "File" menu, and I also moved my "Edit" menu. How do I
recover this menu and move back the other?...

Hiding Toolbar Options
Help! I need to be able to "hide" (suppress) the chevrons/arrows at the end
of each and every toolbar in Office XP -- particularly in Word 2003. The
entire toolbar is visible, so hiding the arrows wouldn't affect being able to
use any of the icons, but Word insists on adding the arrows, with the
drop-down option being just "Add or Remove Buttons". We use numerous

Toolbar not available
I have created a template using Fill in Fields and Text Form Fields. This

Short menus not working
One of our users gets the full menus on the drop-down menus instead of
the short menu with the full menu after a short delay.
She has gone into Tools / Customize and checked the option to Show
full menus after a short delay, but she always gets the full menu.
Is there a way for her to get the short menu before the full menu?

Select Highlights
Hi
I'd be really grateful if anyone could help with the following problem. I
tend to use the 'Select Hightlights' command which under the Edit menu. This
can be used to select highlighted text (it's a great tool for selecting and

Eliminating blank lines in export
Hi All,
Whenever I try to export contents to a word document through an
application, I see blank lines between headings when a heading is
empty. If the heading is empty I do not want it to be displayed. Is
there anyway this could be achieved in a word document. For e.g:

Heading 2

Problem Removing PDF Maker from Toolbars
Hi All,
I was going through the discussion forums and I came across the
query logged on "Problem Removing PDF Maker from Toolbars". I am facing
the same problem. I am using office 2003. I am observing that the PDF
maker icons are being displayed on the toolbar consuming space. I
wouldn't want them to appear on toolbar however, I would want them to

Printout only envelope ?
I have a macro in Outlook to open a new word document,

When the "Save As" window appears for me to save a document, there is a gray
colored vertical bar on the left side of that window with a list of folders.

Removing Blogger Toolbar
Hello,
I am having a problem removing the Blogger toolbar which got installed
somehow on my Word 2003. I have followed the instructions in the Help section
of Word (Toolbars/Customize/etc), but the toolbar keeps reinstalling
everytime I restart the program. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this
toolbar definitively? I have no need for it whatsoever.

Custom Style List in Word 2003
I've created a custom style list in normal.dot which means that when
'Custom' is chosen at the bottom of the style task pane in the 'Show:'
field only the custom styles appear in the pane. When a user changes

Saving Word Files
I have XP Home and XP office.
When I open any Word file to read, and even if I did not do any alterations
or editing, it will ask me if I want to save the changes when I want to
close the file. But I did not make any changes. This is annoying. How can I
remove that pop-up?

Where has my reviewing toolbar gone?
I've recently upgraded to Word 2002 (Office XP) and am finding reviewing
documents a real pain - essentially because I can't for the life of me find
the reviewing toolbar! I've looked everywhere I can think of (the obvious
place being 'view' > 'toolbars') and have even tried reinstalling Office, to
no avail.
Am I being very thick? Does anyone know where it might be hiding?

Locking Toolbars
How do you lock your toolbars in Word so that the icons and menus that you
set...stay there.
Also, my icons on my toolbars are large and I want them to be smaller...any
ideas?

Cannot use File on menu bar
When I start MS WORD 2000 I can type and use the menu bars for Edit, View,
etc but I cannot use File. If I click on File I get a message that
"Micorsoft Word for Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close. We

Toolbars rearranging and Acrobat 6
Every time I try to compose or forward an email (Outlook 2003), my toolbars
rearrange. I also would like to get ride of the Acrobat toolbar in Outlook
and Word 2003 (I still want Word to print to Acrobat to create a *.pdf
document). I currently have 3 toolbar rows in addition to the menu row.
