My text boxes do not print. OK on screen but missing from print.
Have used text boxes in my letters and envelopes for months. All of a
sudden, my text boxes no longer print (just a blank space). When I pull up
the document, the text boxes are shown. But, if I click on the print
preview, the text boxes are missing. Had a backup copy and tried to print it
and got the same result.
Any ideas?...

Word & PC freezing on pressing Delete

cannnot start Equation Editor
I am using Office XP on Windows XP. When I try to open an Equation Editor
object (whether in Word or Excel), I get the pop-up error: "Microsoft
Equation Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close". Office will
then try to automatically install something, but to no avail. It then pops up
the same error.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Equation Editor from the CD, but no ...

How to save add-ins settings?
Hi everyone,
Using Office XP.
I have several add-ins installed for Word. When I go to
'Tools->templates and Add-ins', I can check them on or off, but those
settings are not remembered by Word whenever I restart. THis is really
annoying.
I know I can put my .dot's in the Word Startup folder to guaranty it
will start, but I don't want to have to keep transfering files from one
folder ...

Program constantly closes
Every time I open up or create a file in MS Word -- if I close the file by
either clicking on the "X" or choose File - Close - it closes the whole
application and I have to continually re-open Word. And "No, I am not
clicking on the Larger X in the upper right hand corner -- I am clicking on
the "X" for the file itself and it immediatley closes the appication. How do
I fix this? ...

In preparation for a file/print server migration, I installed all of our

Word 2007 B2TR can't insert Page Number!
Hello :-/
After installign the TechnicalRefresh I can't insert page numbers.
When I go to Insert Ribbon -> press Page number i see a window saying:

Word underlines both selected and unselected text.
I use Word 2003 and Windows XP, SP2. I recently wrote a document in Word.
When finished, I went back to the top of the first page to insert a title. I
typed the title, selected it, and clicked on the underline button. The
program underlined the whole document! I put a section break between the
title and the rest of the document, but got the same result. Also the same

Why won't Word documents open after updating to Office B2TR?
Everything worked fine untill I applied the Office Beta 2 Technical Refresh.
Now when I try to open any Word 97-2003 document, I receive the error message
"The file [Name].doc is not available." I receive this error message even
after turning off Norton AntiVirus. Any ideas what's wrong? Thanks....

word 2007 beta 2, Lithuanians spellchek doesn's work
i have installed MS Office 2007 beta, and now lithuanian spellcheker doesnt
work, although worked on MS office 2003.
When i press the spelling and grammar button, a windows intaller comes, and

Why can't I Correct my Default Margins?
My margins in Microsoft Word is way off and I can't seem to correct them.

How do I reset sections of bullets for a whole document?
I have a document with 120 pages. each page has a section of bulletted items.
The pages are separated by Page Breaks.
I am using alphabetical bullets.
Word is acting like it is one continuos document.
I end up with:
WWWW.
XXXX.
YYYY.
ZZZZ.
Instead of :
A.
B.
C.
D.
which I want on each page
How do I reset my document so each pages' bulletted sections start with A....

Word 2003 shuts down about 10 seconds after startup
The copy of word 2003 that came installed on my HP ze4800 shows a window that
says "Word has encountered a proplem and must shut down ......." This
happens about 10 seconds after the blank word document page comes up. It

how do I stop my cursor from jumping when I type?
When I am typing sentences (in Word, or Outlook particularly), half way
through a sentence the cursor jumps to a different part of the paragraph,
totally unprompted by me! How can I prevent this from happening? I'm using

crash boom bang.. ugh!
After a bunch of repairing, uninstalling and reinstalling, then more
troubleshooting, I finally landed on a help page for normal.dot. That's
where my problem lies. I can delete it and WORD will start fine. But when I
build my own custom toolbar, then try to reopen it, it will crash. It's not
like I'm programming my on toolbar. Just dragging and dropping onto a new
bar. Nothing elaborate ...

Word 2007: excessive CPU load in tables
Hello!
I noticed when I'm trying to move any table border (e.g. move one internal
vertical border left or right) using "mouse drag", the CPU load essentially
increases and could reach 100% while the left mouse button is pressed, even
for still mouse. This could be easily seen with Task Manager, Performance

ACCESS DENIED DISK IS FULL
We have set up NTFS user security policy on a specific folder to allow only
the modification of the files in the folder. Word creates and deletes
temporary files that it produces once any specific document is opened in the
folder which leads to a violation of the security policy. Whenever I try to

Word 2003 freezes up/ cannot access any word documents.
We have been having trouble accessing Microsoft Word for a while. Now we
cannot get into it or any of the documents that were done in Word. When we
try to pull it up the program loads and then freezes. We reinstalled the

Word Reader can be patched with hotfix
I have got the free Word Reader.
When I apply a MS hotfix to it (using the MS installer on the Windows
update site) then the hotfix will not install.
It seems as if the hotfix believes I have a false serial number. But
Word reader has no user-entered serial number as it is free.
How can I get around this?...
