Simple help with a line of code, please?
I'm using this for a custom field in outlook:
DateDiff("m", [ContractDate] , Date())
to show how long a client has been with us in months. I'd like to change
that to years but I can't get it.
I've tried changing the "m" to "y" with no success
and tried adding /12 to the end of the formula with no success either.
Help?...

Autosave for customized post items?
Hi,
we have a simple document management app built on outlook forms in
public folders.
Documents can be attachments to post items or simply the extended post
items themselves.
Now a user claims that she wants to have something like autosave in
word, because she lost entered text frequently when Outlook crashed.
I have no idea how I could build autosave into our modified post item...

custom contact forms in outlook 2003
I need to create a contact form with fields for at least four separate
viable hyperlinks. If I use multiple "web site" fields, they replicate
one another; if I use multiple "notes" fields the OS produces a warning
message for each field every time you open the contact. Does anyone
have a solution for this, please? ...

Different colors for drop down boxes
Is it possible to have the options for a dropdown box be different colors?
I have in my custom form a combo box with two options "PEO" and "ASO" which
represents the type of client they are to us. I'd like to have it so that
"peo" is red and "aso" is blue.
Is that possible?...

Include field from any form
Hi
I would like to create a form into witch i could include fields from any
other form.
Exemple if i use a form base on a task form, i cannot include field from a
contact form or just few specific field.

OL 2007 - Set custom form region as default
I created a custom form region with the following message class:
"IPM.Contact.TestAddIn1.ClientRegion". I then created a new Folder within
the default Contacts folder to store these custom items. Finally, I created
a NavigationFolder within the Contacts navigation module which points to my
new Folder.

Is a dynamic Map to location possible?
I've created a custom form based on the contact template. The template has
with it for the address field the toolbar button to "Display map of this
address."
For all intents and purposes, this button apparently calls up Microsoft's
local.live.com and gives you a map of the address entered in the address
field.
Question is, would it be possible to modify an image field to always have...

Creating an request form with approve and deny buttons
Can any one help?? I am trying to create an embedded request for hire form in
an email and send it to the approving managers. I need to have an approve or
deny button on it with custom settings to either forward to next person if
approved or come back to the requestor with a denial. Seems like it should be
easy, but I cannot figure it out....

ItemAdd event with Outlook2007
hi,
can anyone help me to find what's wrong in my code ?
I'm using VSTOv3 and Outlook2007 beta2,
I try to use the ItemAdd event but any messageBox appear when i move a mail
into the inbox folder or when a new mail arrives into this folder.

Saving text included on customised task page
Hi,
Like many others on this forum, I am creating a customised task template for

why write some code in form then the reading pane can't display
I use outlook 2003 to design a form
When I selected a item in item list, double click, and the design the
form. after I write some code in the script editor, the reading can't
display the email, replace the word: This item contains active that

Check Boxes in a custom view
I designed a form that has a bunch of text boxes for a simple yes/no filter
for finding contacts for specific purposes.
Anyways, I have a custom view I made so I could see all the fields wether
they are "yes" or "no". But I can just easily click the field and add a
check there. I know I can remove the permissions for editing the contact,
but I need my end users to be able to edit the ...

File Menu: Tools doesn't show Forms? Why? How can I get it back?
I am trying to save changes to a form. Had Outlook 2000 - upgraded to 2003.
Other forms are working fine, a few are not because the Tools menu item does
not display Forms so I cannot save changes to form. There is also no Actions
listed in the file menu. I would add it with Customize, but the Command for
menus only shows 'Built-in Menus' and Actions is not listed. Please help!

customize preview panel
Hi,
I would customize preview panel in outlook.
What I want is to display the complete adress mail of the recipient.
When sender saves contacts ,outlook only display the name of the recipient :
ex: Erik MARTIN
Something like: Erik MARTIN <ericmartin@aol.com> would be great.
How add <ericmartin@aol.com> in the field ?

Favorites Folder
Hi,
I've a contacts public folder with a custom form published in the folder.
When a user access through his favorites, the custom form won't be used.
Should I publish the form an other way than in the folder (like
organizational forms) ? Will that be a solution ?
I'm really suprised it looks like if the favorite folder were just an other

Restoring a Custom Form
Due to a melt-down of my hard disk I am in the middle of the tedious process

How do I keep unformatted phone numbers?
