Hi, I'm using: XP Pro ServPak2 Outlook 2003 (11.8010.6568) sp2 Internet Explorer6 ver 6.0.02900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 In order for me to use newsgroups I have to go into ie6's internetOptionsProgramsNewsgroups and set it to Outlook Express... every time... the setting won't stay permanent. Finding account and message rule files
I recently had to restore Outlook from a backup, after needing to reformat my C: drive. I was able to restore the outlook.pst and extend.dat files, and seemed to recover my saved emails, calender, etc, but was not able to recover my account information and message rules. Don't want the unread mail count for Junk Mail or Deleted items.
I feel compelled to review and delete items in the Junk Mail and Deleted Items folders because the folders list the uread messages in the navigation tree. I would like to see an option to turn off the unread mail count for these folders. I think when I delete something it should not matter if I read it or not. I think that is what the trash is for.
