I uninstalled Outlook and now I can't reinstall it.
I uninstalled my Office 2000 because I had Word 2002 and didn't think about
it taking my Outlook away. I want it back but it won't let me reinstall it.
I get the message "Setup failed to locate a valid qualifying product on your
machine."...

Outllook XP stops responding
I have just installed office XP onto a machine.
All apps seem fine but every so often Outlook stops responding and takes up
all of the CPU power. Sometimes after five mins it continues on as if nothing
had happened. Other times I have to close Outlook down and restart it. Which
of course starts the recovery process for the .pst files.
We are running IMAP e-mail accounts.

PROGRA~1\McAfee\SPAMKI~1|McMapi.dll
I have installed Outlook 2003, and I get the message that the add-on
PROGRA~1\McAfee\SPAMKI~1|McMapi.dll and the add-on
PROGRA~1\McAfee\SPAMKI~1|mskolplg.dll are not installed or loaded. I have
removed the programs and then reinstalled them and I still get the messages
as it opens. Detect and repair doesn't seem to help either....

Outlook won't open after installing a wirelss card
I just installed a Dell wireless 1390 WLAN express card on my laptop and now
Outlook will not open. I get an error message with this information:
AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.2416 ModName: mcmapi.dll

My version of Outlook is from MS Office 2000 Professional. Any ideas if it
is the wireless software? Not compatable with office 2000?...

Outlook 2003 over Office 2000 : Outlook 2000 fight back !
I am upgrading Outlook to Outlook 2003 on a thousand of computers.
Perviously those computers were running Office 2000 installed from an
administrative installation point.
That installation was tailored using ORK.
I am deploying Outlook 2003 using ORK and using a administrative
installation point.

Meeting schedule problem
When scheduling a meeting some attendees calanders only show up to the 1st of
the next month rather than the whole of their calender.
So if I am going to invite Joe Blogs to a meeting today then I can sroll
through the days in August to see if he is busy but after the 01.09 it shows
No Information.
Why is that and what can we do to fix that?

SMTP Server Outgoing server settings
After installing outlook 2007 beta 2 I was recieving email but could not send
email until I changed the outgoing server settings to " Log into incoming
server before sending email" instead of "use same settings as my incoming
mail server" that had been set in Outlook 2003. I believe this is a new

I can receive mails while in office, but couldn't receive my mails while

Calendar Sharing
I set up Calendar sharing and sent the link to several of my employees only
to have them come back to me (they are all using outlook 2003), and state
that they get only a blank page, so I went to my laptop also running 2003,
and found that they were right, they cannot view the link, so I went back to
this computer with outlook 2007, and lo and behold the link worked perfectly.

A way to copy address books and folders after trial period
I have a new computer which had Outlook for a trial period. Now it has
expired and I want to transfer the folders & address books,and the old emails
to another licensed version of Outlook 2003 I have on my server. However,

Kaspersky ADD-IN won't go away with Detect and Repair [Outlook 2003 Startup Error]

Accessing Secure Mail from my wife's work
When I installed Outlook Office 2007 Beta 2, I am no longer able to get
secured email from the company my wife works for. I still get the email with
the link to their secure servers, but when I click on the link instead of

"Enter network password" - how do I get past this?
I have tried to install a new e-mail account on my old -03 Outlook. I have
entered all the information that my IP told me I needed to enter, and yet I
keep getting this prompt to "enter network password" both for my outgoing and
