Mail from my IMAP account is marked "delete" as soon as I open it.
All,
New to Outlook so my apologies... I've configured an account on Outlook to
successfully receive (and sync) my IMAP mail account on .mac (yes, am an
Apple boy)... it all works ok except as soon as I open a new mail item it is
marked as delete (with a line thru it). I do not wish this to happen, of
course.
I have no rules set up (in Options) and anything else funky that might be

Outlook Dumps on Send/ Recieve
I am running Outlook 2003 (11.8010.6568) SP2. I pick up mail from 4
different POP3 accounts. Outlook has started dumping out of memory (just
dissappears) when it does a send and receive. I managed to track the culprit
to one of the accounts. When I remove that account- all goes well.
The ISP has made NO changes and one of the other accounts that causes no
issue is on the same servie...

e-mail sticks in out box
Using Outlook 2002 SP3 the following happens: When I send an email I get an
error message saying unknown error 0x80040109. The email sticks in the
outbox in bold, indicating it was not sent. However, the addressee receives
the email. If I open the email in the send box, it says this email has not
been sent. If I try to resend it, at 1st an error message comes up but then
the email is...

getting back old outlook emails
A colleague of mine recently reinstalled his Outlook 2003. He found that all
his original Outlook inbox was replaced by emails that were in his outlook
express. Can some one be kind enough to provide some guidance on how he may
be able to get those old mail folders back? Could the old folders possibly be
under C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application

Outlook 2003 w. IE7RC1 fails on Detect & Repair now, missing file
Outlook 2003 w.IE7RC1 + SP2 + all current updates as of 9/11/06.
Fails on detect and repair, a file that was added during the update process
is not present on the Original Office 2003 CD. This cause the repair process
to fail.
This type of failure is not new, there needs to be a way to Repair Software
despite these updates. Perhaps an ISO file that we can download and burn to
a CD or D...

Outlook 2007 Beta 2 - SKU011.CAB Issue
I have Outlook 2007 Beta 2 installed sepeartely on my computer, not
overwriting my original Outlook 2003. It seems that the new installation has
caused the famous SKU001.CAB issue to pop up again. 2007 keeps asking me to
provide SKU011.CAB file, however, I have had the LIS tool from Microsoft
installed once, and now the dialogue box comes back with an error saying that

Where to put .pst for best performance
I have two SATA drives on my XP Home PC. Would it be better for Outlook
general performance to put the .pst file on the second disk, or to leave it
on the boot disk along with the system and the Outlook application? Or no
difference, trying to measure the speed of light with a stopwatch?

Reducing .pst file size
I run Outlook 2003 SR1 (from Office 2003) on Windows 2003 SR2.
I completed an operation on Outlook file "one.pst" to reduce its size
by transferring many of its folders to the newly created folder
"two.pst". File one.pst started with 1.2GB, and two.pst started empty.
I moved 970MB from one.pst to two.pst. But, when I checked one.pst's
file size, it had not changed. It was still 1.2GB.

i have install outlook 2003 (before i was used outlook 2000)
so i have backuped myn PST file.
but someone tell me to do not directly import the PST to 2003 because like
that it will not use the new PST from 2003 ! Just ? and is this is just how
make a PST Version 2003 ?

Duplicate Mailboxes
I've a duplicate mailbox with the same contents and name in outlook. The
unique difference: the icon.
My outlook 2003 SP2 is a client of exchange server 2003 SP2.
If I delete the exchange email account from properties of outlook, in the
deliver new email combobox one Mailbox exist !!!!!!!!! Why??????

Missing Outlook notes in sync with Mobile 5
I have Outlook 2003, Activsync 4.2, and a Mobile 5 smart phone.
The sync works fine with email, calendar, contacts... but there is no
Outlook Notes folder option to sync. When I go to configure the sessiong
(ActiveSync Tools >> Options), most all of the Outlook folders are there, but

canot start microsoft office outlook. mapi32.dll is corrupt
I installed 2007 outlook and it corrupted my old version. I have installed it
three times and it will not work. I have also renamed the dll files and it
would not wor. I also could not click on the send button in 2003 when I first

IMAP Sent
I'm using an IMAP account on a desktop & a laptop computer (Outlook 2003) and
I have set up a rule to copy messages I send from my sent folder into my IMAP
sent folder. I have selected my IMAP sent folder and gone up to View |
Arrange By | Current View | Sent To, in order to view to whom I sent the
message to. This works great on the computer that I send the message from.

Crash outlook 2007
Hello,
my outlook 2007 always give a error after the second time I opened a mail.
The first time I 've no problem but when I open a another mail outlouk gives
me a error report en restart. I've already uninstalled outlook 07, I've
changed my mail profile, I 've repaired my pst.file but all of these things
wasn't a solution. Can somebody help me with this ?

When migrating a user to exchange 2003, I am prompted the following message.
"The Microsoft Exchange Address Book was unable to log on to the Microsoft
