Outlook 2007 pst backup prog - was in 2003 & 2000???
Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 had an add-in for "backup PST" but does not
seem to be available for Outlook 2007 BETA yet. Any word on when it might be
made available for Outlook 2007?

Suppressing Out of Office Message to specified addresses.
Certain incoming emails (especially from mailing lists) do not need an Out of
Office response from Outlook, as this only triggers a further auto response
from the sender, which then triggers another o-o-o response from Outlook etc
etc.......
How do I formulate a rule for the o-o-o-assistant, telling it not to respond
to certain addresses?

attachment not forwarded with email

test messages work - but cannot receive e-mail
Outlook 2003 SP2. I am just at the end of a 'recovery' of my PC after
reinstalling all original software plus updates.
I have three pop3 accounts. The "test account" works in each pop3 account. I

MS Outlook 2002 can not find default e-mail folder
I have an licensed version of MS Office XP Professional 2002 which I

Not Implemented Error
Microsoft auto-updated something ~last month, and now I have to accept the
licence agreement every time I open Outlook, and I get a "not implemented"
error for all tasks except adding data to existing entries. Occurs on all
folders. I can't back-up, archive, print...Couldn't find any reference from
MS on this. Other posts mentioning the error code, didn't discuss what the
basic error fix...

Detect and Repair
Windows Installer starts when Detect and Repair is started and the message is
Please wait while windows configures Microsoft Office XP Standard. A
complete install is then apparently accomplished. This happens in Word and

Rule works when run manually but not automatically
I had several rules that were working fine and one day, one of the rules
decided not to work any longer. I have deleted and rebuilt on several
occasions with no change. I can run the rule manually and it works like a
champ.
I have also tried the suggestion of MAPI Editor located here

System recovery, non-destructive. Where is my mail, etc?
I did a system recovery that was 'supposed' to be non-destructive and no data
files lost. I had to reinstall Office 2003. But now I do not have anything
from Outlook from before (email, address book, calendar, etc.). I have
searched for *.pst and have found nothing. How do I recover all of this
information? HELP!...

I'm not able to remove Microsoft Exchange Server
I added POP3 as my server for Outlook 2003 and now it won't let me remove
Microsoft Exchange Server (which I had entered in error originally). It says
I "cannot delete account containing your email, contact & calendar, you first
need to create a location for personal data,on File Menu click on Data File
Mangement and then click add". I don't know what "file Menu' it's referring
to.

Deleting email copies left on server?
How do we delete copies of emails left on the server? We have configured
Outlook 2007 to leave copies of emails on the servers for our HTTP (Hotmail
and MSN) accounts. Obviously, we could go out to the internet and delete the
emails, but are hoping there is a way to do that from within Outlook 2007.
For example, when the email is downloaded, a copy is left on the server, but

HTTP email accounts won't connect to server?
We are setting up some HTTP accounts (Hotmail and MSN) at home in Outlook
2007. Comcast is the IP broadband provider at our home and we have
successfully set up all our Comcast POP3 email accounts in Outlook 2007.

How do we recover Outlook categories from a registry backup?
We did the big no, no! We rebuilt a machine and forgot to backup or export
the Outlook categories. Now our new reinstallation of Outlook does not have

Redirecting of e-mail, and getting addressbook to work in outlook 2000?

How does one "name" the server, to activate outlook?
After just having installed Office Professional 2003, I tried to use Outlook.
I first had to "activate" Outlook in order to use it. But before activating
it, I was required to enter the Name of the Server? How the heck do I find
out the name of the server? Am I supposed to make something up? Thanks for
any help from anybody....

Leaving e-mail marked as unread until it has been opened
I used to have my e-mail (outlook) set up to leave an e-mail as unread until
you've opened it but it won't do that now. I'm not sure what is different
about how I have it set up now. About a month ago, I restored my computer to
its original state and reloaded all of my programs. Since then, I've been
having this problem.

conection problem on office 2003/instalation problem with beta 200

As of yesterday my outlook 2003 went pear-shape. I added some new accounts
to it in the afteroon, but after realizing that I got given wrong "user

Undeliverable: How to display the Original Message and .dat file
I got an undeliverable notification on my outlook client but there is no
original message & dat file attached. How can I configure Outlook so that the

Are Outlook 2003 .pst files different than Outlook Small Business
I'm pretty sure I've figured out how to merge my (2) .pst files and make them
(1) mobile file. However, in the process I took a 2003 file and imported it
into a 2003 small business file. Now when my 2003 tries to open the 2003
small business file, I get an error message.
Are the (2) different 2003's that much different? 2003 and 2003 Small
Business?...

Outlook 2007 SMTP - cannot send
I've been using the Outlook 2007 beta since a few weeks. Worked fine.
Last week I started getting problems sending e-mail (receiving still
works just fine). I get this error:
