Outlook on XP PRO X64 will not run
Hi.
I have installed Office Pro on a WinXP x64 system.
All the other programs run except Outlook.
It generates a "MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or wrong version" error.
I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but get the same error.
Any ideas why Outlook will not run?
Thanks,
Chris...

Attachment Icon
While some people seem to have trouble finding the paperclip icon for their
attachments, I have the oposite problem. Almost all my incoming e-mails show
the paperclip attachment but there really isn't an attachment. I played
around with my settings and managed to get rid of the attachment icon but
then it doesn't show the paperclip even when there really is an attachment.
How can I se...

How do search subfolders in Outlook 2007?
I have big mail archives with a subfolder based on year, quarter, month. I
used to be able to select a folder and focus a search just within that folder
and it's subfolders.
In the 2007 beta, I can search everything, or just one folder. Nothing in
between.
Hoping I missed a search option somewhere. Thanks for the help...

I want it to be the other.
Any tips?

automated task management in outlook using vba
hi,
as a first step in a larger project i am trying to implement a notification
when tasks are completed. i have figured out a way to do this, but only by
looping over the whole task list, which seems somewhat inefficient to me.
rather what i would like to do, is to get a grip on single tasks in the list,
however, so far i failed in doing this. if anyone knows a clearcut way to do

Identify e-mails to be deleted automatically after being read
Sometimes you read an e-mail, but don't want to delete it instantly because
you want to keep it for a certain amount of time. Microsoft should implement
a control attached to each e-mail so the user can decide to automatically
delete an e-mail after reading it (or possibly after a certain amount of time
has elapsed after being read, for example a week or a month). This would
help elimi...

Public Folders permissions question
Hi,
Using Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003. We are using public folders and
created a custom form. I set the permissions so that everyone that uses it
is an editor, I am the owner. It is my understanding that this will protect
the form so that my users can't mess with the layout.
I have a new user who has twice in the last week deleted columns from that
custom form. I've double ch...

here is my current problem:
I have a client who is running Office 2000 on Windows XP Home -- I get
confused over the various Office "editions", but it's one that does not
include Outlook. They have recently become fed up with Outloo...
