How easy is it, how do i do it, do i need to buy outlook 2003 or is there an

outlook crash for certain emails
I have a remote offices that uses Small Business Edition 2003 with outlook
2003. One user gets emails at times that will cause outlook to do an illegal
operation and has to close.
The email is in HTML format and outlook will crash every time the email is
opened. I have tried to open the same email on another exchange server and

Outlook group in collapsed view always
My InBox, (& other folders) used to always show my groups in "collapse" view,
now it's ALWAYS expanded, even when I go between folders after collapsing
them. How do I reset it to ALWAYS be in collapse view unless I expand it
myself?...

Address book is empty although can be viewed on contact screen
When I try to send an email using Office 2007, if I click on the to button
the address book is empty. If I look at the contacts screen I can view all
the contact, any suggestions on how to rectify this problem?

How do I get Outlook 'send/receive status' to 100%
I am having difficulty retrieveing messages. The 'Send/Receive Status' shown
at the bottom right is only 50%. How do I get this status back to 100%.
Sending does not seem to be a problem I use my ISP'.s mail box and can read
my messages there but am unable to down load them to Outlook...

Force deferred outgoing mail to leave immediately
I am using Outlook 2003. I have created a rule to delay all my
outgoing mail by 10 minutes.
That is, I've done Tools->Rules and Alerts and then selected
a) New Rule
b) Start from a blank rule
c) Check messages after sending
d) Next -> defer delivery by a number of minutes
For most of my mail, I prefer delaying it by 10 minutes just in case I
think of something or someone else ...

Web links in email are blocked
I can not click on web links in my email. I get the error message: "This
operation hass been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator."
How do I undo this restriction?

E-mails received with funny characters
People are receiving my e-mails with extra characters in the e-mail. The
extras are always capital B & J and small squares and the right parenthetical
mark. They appear to be randomly placed in the e-mail. I have never heard of
this and don't have a clue as to the reason. Any help would be much
appreciated....

Exporting folder info from custom columns
I would like to export all the info from the columns in a folder. Some
of these columns are custom columns, such as date assigned, date
completed. Ideally I would like to be able to export the info from
these columns into Excel to sort through the data (see how much certain
initials have worked assigned to them, etc...). Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Outlook 2003 - WinXPSP2 - Exchange 5.5 - Can't Connect!

We have an Exchange 5.5 server that we use for group scheduling and
calendering only. There are a couple of XP workstations that cannot connect

I'm looking for information about exactly how scanpst works internally
- which is probably the same question as, "what do we know, how much
information do we know about the proprietary PST file format?"

unicode versus ansi format - detect in a hex editor?
I'm guessing it should be possible to look through a hex editor, to
determine if a particular PST file is in the Outlook 2003 PST (unicode)
format, or pre-2003 (ansi) .. has anyone done this? What is the tell
tale sign to look for - what bytes or set of bytes do i need to pay
attention ot?

Outlook 2000 could do, can Outlook 2003?
In Outlook 2000 we would see the current day (or however you set it) and to
the left, 6 months in two rows. Have just upgraded to Outlook 2003 and am
unable to do the same. Tried moving the navigation bar and saw 3 months at
the top but that was all. Can we do this in 2003 and if so, how. Appreciate
any and all help.

Sending with Attachments = Freezing

Outlook 2007 and RSS Feeds
Hi,
I would like to reed the RSS Feeds in the preview pane. However I get a
message that "This file cannot be previewed because there is no previewer
installed for it."
The files are called Ful Article.htm. I would imagine that I would need and
HTM previewer to see these files in the Preview Pane. Is a "previewer"
available for these type files and if so where?

Archive and Mailbox Size.
I have a client that has a mailbox in Outlook Express that was 4GB, he just
bought Outlook 2003 and I imported all of his messages. I'm not to happy
with the mailbox size being this large and since he insist he must keep all
of these messages, what can I do? I have read about archiving but will this
help even if I do archive it will make the 2 .pst file 2GB which I still feel
is to lar...
