and_Delegates_are_gray
I have a lot of Outlook users, everybody work with Exchange mailboxes. One of
them have strange problem - his Outlook's "File, Open, Other User’s Folder"
menu and "Tools, Options, Delegates" become gray. Reloads help not.
What can I do to activate these features?
Please, help.

Adding search the web to the oulook 2007 searches
It would be nice to have search the web as an option under oulook search.
Right now you have two options: Search All Mail Items and Search Desctop. The
third one should be: Search the Web.

MSSPC.ECF Error still a problem
When are you guys going to find us a fix that works? I have tried everything
I can find and nothing works. Seems lots of folks are having the same
problem and no one has yet to find a fix (or post that they found one).
Who has figured this one out?
My customer was attempting to send a scan from the HP Director software to
Outlook with the "Create E-mail" button when the error occured...

Where Can I Download Outlook Live
Using Outlook 2003. Need to download Outlook Live. Searches take me to this
address (http://outlooklive.msn.com/) but the link is dead.
Found the Outlook Live Service Pack 2 download but I think the orignal
download for Outlook Live is needed......

File hyperlink in RTF format e-mails
I have taught staff how to attach files using "insert as hyperlink" in rich
text format e-mails. These automatically generate a hyperlink to a file that
an internal user on a network can link to (as long as they have rights to the
file).
On a couple of occasions I have noticed that the Oulook client "disables"

Chinese are shown as ??? in subject even after adding Unicode supp
I have Outlook 2003. I created new data file which is unicode based PST file
in my mailbox and I imported some Chinese emails to this PST file. Body is
shown proper but the subject line is still showing ????.

Windows logon and outlook
my windows log on screen shows i have 10 email messages. yet when i open
outlook 2003, there really is no outstanding emails, no new or unread
messages as the log on screen indicates. how do i correct this? all users
show unread messages at log on but do not have any when opening outlook 2003...

out of office assistant and communicator
When I returned from my vacation, our company had installed Microsoft Office
Communicator on our computers. Apparently this fouled my Out of Office
message - since I can no longer open Office Assistant to turn it off.
I noticed that my out of office message was appearing as my "Note" so I went
in and erased this from my Communicator screen - but my Outlook is still

RPC over HTTP Outlook Issue
Dears,
This is the 2nd time I post this and no reply ?? We have outlook that is
functioning in RPC over HTTP everywhere however; in one of our sites when hte
outlook client connects to the Exchange through the LAN it displays " waiting
to update this folder" for more than 30 minutes. The mailbox store is at the
same site and the OAB V 4.0 has a replica there. any idea ???

AutoArchive deleting mail
We have recently switched to Outlook, and I am setting a policy for all email
older than 30 days to autoarchive.
In the Outlk11.adm GP template, I have set the following:
Turn On AutoArchive
Run AutoArchive every <1> day
Archive or delete old items
I had the Retention Policy set for 30 in each box. I thought this was the
cause of the problem, so I turned off the retention polic...

Outlook 2003 keeps prompting for password
I am using windows XP and Outlook 2003 (parent/teachers edition). I recently
tried to change my computer name in the registry but ultimately did not make
the change.
Now, every time I try to send and receive I get prompted for my net work
password that it does not except. Then I get this error -

has anyone had trouble opening a .pst file backup for OUTLOOK?
Hi. Backed up my outook folders, creating a .pst file. Tried opening it using
'backup' from the outlook file menu, and got an error message saying that it
wasn't compatible with this outlook version/it might be corrupted. Is this
the only way to back up my emails/calendar? I'm using outlook 2003.

?Synchronizing what for 2+ hours?
Yesterday my auto update (windows xp or office 2003) installed something -
don't know what.
Ever since, outlook is outrageously slow on start up. Chewing up every
available resource I have, took over 5 minutes to pull up task manager with
ctrl alt del.
Noticed this icon on task bar that says "Microsoft office outlook is

Weblinks in Outlook messages
Hi there,
I have a system (similar to a shopping cart) that sends an email to the user
with links to materials she selected online. The materials are generally Word
documents. While the system works perfectly and the generated message has
all the correct links, when opened in outlook, the links don't go through.

Email invitation
When an email invitation is sent out to a large group and
maybe half reply on the Yes option button, is there a way
of replying automatically to only those who answered 'Yes'?
rater than typing all the Yes respondents in again??!

Issue with Reply Icon
Hi
I am running Outlook 2003 SP2, with Exchange 2003 SP2.
Microsoft Office has been fully updated from the MS site.
This morning, I noticed a weird occurence....sometimes, if I reply to a
mail, the purple reply icon next to it doesn't appear. Sometimes, it
does.
Icon is already added to Fields in Customise Current View, and I have
restarted Outlook.
Any ideas?

Some people cannot see their emails when accessing Outlook Web Acc
Hi
I have a strange problem, when most people logon to their webmail all their
existing emails in their inbox appear as they should by for a couple of users
they just get a message saying "There are no items to show in this view".
They both have emails that should appear and if they get sent an email whilst
in the webmail it will appear in the inbox it's as if its just not picking up

producing stationary but picture will not appear
Hi,
I have made an html page in Golive to be used as a stationary template in
Outlook 2003 and followed the instructions correctly to import it into the
program. I can see the page as a HTML page in IE without any problems but
when I open a new email from Outlook one of the pictures (our logo) at the
top of the page doesn't appear.
I am not really sure what I am doing wrong and would app...
