Can you help troubleshoot configuring Outlook with Verizon.net?
I have followed the steps to add a new e-mail account in Outlook with
Verizon.net, but I keep getting an error message saying the server was found
but there was no response from the server. I called Verizon and they couldn't
tell me what is going wrong. Any ideas?...

notes in outlook 2003 should allow undo
Why doesn't Notes in Outlook 2003 allow you to undo ? It becomes serious when
you copy and paste a note and you accidentally press C instead of CTRL+C and
obliterate your text...

Exporting Members on a distribution list
Folks here is a question, you know how you select a distribution list and
then you click on Properties you can see all the member name in full. I
want to know how I can export the names of people who are part of that
distribution list to a excel or text file? Is there a way, I don't want to
do this in AD only because in AD it only shows the users login name as
oppose to their fullnames...

does not accept email in non-Western characters
Why do some people get this msg when trying to email me:
"The user does not accept email in non-Western (non-Latin) character sets."
I can't find anywhere w/in Outlook to change this setting and don't see any
non-Western characters in the email (when they fwd it to a different account)...

view pictures in outlook
I understand that outlook is more designed for business, BUT, the option
should really be there for the user to have there pics automatically show up
in an email.
There is nothing worse in right click- open or double click to open to view
say 12 pictures of family n friends ... I do hope this issue canbe resolved
so that the people who like Outlook can have it set up the way they like it...

Outlook Pst file lost
I have a client that was having an issue with his Word Normal.dot template.
It was somehow renamed and put in a different place.Malware was mostlikely
the culprit.
In an effort to correct this issue, I went to Add/Remove Programs and chose

I can't find mail and contacts that were imported to outlook
I received a message in Outlook 2003 : Import Internet Mail Summary: that
said that "417 of 417 messages imported>15 of 15 addresses imported." But I
can't see these messages. I don't know how to find them.
I rang technical support and they jsut referred me to a KB 287070 file which

whereby we use wyse terminals, when this user logs into the server that has
mappoint installed it he does not get this warning when he opens up outlook
mpoai13.dll is a invalid add-on but when he logins into the other 2

Re-naming a hyperlink in an email signature

How do I get web links to work in Outlook again?
When I click on a link hyperlink in an email in Outlook 2003 I get this
message:
"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this

I currently look at the source and try to find the URL for the link so I can

Wrong Signature Font
Despite my Outlook settings, when I reply to an HTML message my
signature is displayed in the wrong font. A New message or a Reply to
an ASCII message is works fine. My configuration/settings are shown
below. BTW, when outgoing is set to HTML, the sinature is always in the
wrong font.
Any ideas?
Also, is there a way to always reply in ASCII regardless of the format
of the incoming mess...

Spell Check
I have a Spanish speaking client and when this person emails me it is in
English. However, when I try to reply to the email it appears as if my spell
check is now checking for Spanish because every word I type is recognized as
an incorrect spelling. Is there a way for me to switch this back to my
typical spell check without creating a new email message?

A program is trying to access email addreses messages - Outlook XP
When I start outlook - and many other times - I get a message box that pops
up saying:

How do I fix sending a new e-mail that ends in outbox?
I can send e-mail reply but I cannot send newly created e-mails. They go to
my outbox and will not send though I follwed all directions to send. I also

INSTALLED OFFICE 2003 & EMAIL ADDRESS BOOK WOULDN'T WORK
After installing Office 2003 Professional, my email address book would not
work in Outlook. Is there a compatibility issue I should be aware of. I
upgraded from Office 2000. My internet settings say use Address Book for
contacts....
