Preservation of date stamp when copying email to folder?
When archiving email received from a remote worker, they can be attached to
one email as Message[html] files. If these are saved as attachements and then
'save attchments' is used in the file menu the date stamp is lost and the
appears at the date it was saved. The same happens when the Message[html]
files are fully opened and then saved by using 'copy to folder' in the File

Outlook should let you chose to attach original message or not.
Microsoft Outlook 2003
When using Outlook it would be more efficient if you could chose how to
reply and how to forward messages from the menu. Example when replying to a
large message you could chose to reply without original email text, When
forwarding a message you could chose wether to forward within the email or as
an attachement.
Novell Groupwise has these capabilities and was extr...

Problems with mailmerge to labels in word - only one page
I'm running office 2003 pro sp2 on win xp pro sp2 and want to create labels
from my contacts in outlook. I've tried both starting from outlook and also

contracts I'm using should generate many pages of labels, but I can only
populate 1 page at most. The best instructions I've found so far came from

Deleted/Missing Journal Entries
I use the journal to track contact with clients and I am now having a problem
where I will go to review the activities only to find that there are none
(e-mail, calls, or letters). It is as if the activities are being deleted

seems totally random as some of my contacts have entries going back since

Can Outlook 2002 Pick Up Dialing Rules
Is there anyway to get Outlook to pickup a Dialing Rule that you have set up
when you try to use it to dial a number held against a Contact.
For example I have one rule that is setup to dial a "9" if I am in the
office, and another to use at home to route me through a cheap telephone
company.
However Outlook seems to ignore both these rules, even when I switch them on

Exchange 2k CALS and Outlook licensing
I am aware that one is able to use E2k CALS to install Outlook 2002 and below
onto client PCs. I wanted to check whether you had to get Outlook on a
separate CD or whether we can use one copy of Office (XP/ 2k/ 97) and use
that key to install Outlook onto multiple clients or is there some other more
convulated way we have to do? I've read the slipstick site and am none the

Re populate Signature drop box in 2003?
Hi folks,
I just purchased a new Dell laptop with Outlook 2003, and want to transfer
about 45 canned business signatures into Outlook 2003.
They are already on the new hard drive in a C:\Program/Signature directory,
but Outlook 2003 doesn't see them. Anybody know how to populate?.
