How do I print a .prn file created by Outlook?
I printed an Outlook contacts report to a file. It created a file with a .prn
extension how do I print it now?...

Distribution list
I am trying to find a way to compress a distribution list. I have staff that
are blind and use screen readers. If I send out an email to all in the area
they have to go through each name before getting to the mail. This also
effects are seeing employees as well - if they have to go through 50 names
before actually getting to the email - they delete it....

How to transfer Outlook address book from laptop to desk top?
I have XP-Professional
I have a laptop that has outlook and copied the address book to a thumbdrive
how do I add it to the address book on my desk top in Outlook?
I sure don't want to have to retype 326 addresses and phone numbers and
emails.
I need detailed specific instructions. I am not a computer geek but I do
know a little.

contacts folders not visible
One of the 3 folders under contacts is not available when I go to send an
e-mail. It is clearly visible in contacts tab....

Email
When opening some emails I get little outlines of square box's with a small
red x in the upper left hand corner.. Can anyone please explain to me what I
can do to correct this and make the emails open correctly? Thank you

When exporting my outlook contacts mapping doesn't list all field
When trying to export my contacts to Excel the mapping doesn't list all the
fields for the contacts. For instance, the field Nicknames or File as are not
listed as options. How do I get to export these fields to Excel. I have
exported these to Excel in the past on another computer successfully. Both my
current computer and my crashed computer use Microsoft Office 2002

Deleting an unseen email address permanently
Friend had change of email address - I deleted the old address and replaced
it with the new address. I cannot see the old one anywhere, but when I use
the distribution list she's on, the old address always pops up and bounces. I
cannot see the old address on either my distribution list or in the general
contact list.

HELP!!! How to change all contacts format in one shot
I'm using Outlook 2003. i was able to drag my contact when sending new
mails. But the contact format was different as in (let Outlook decide
the best sending format)and (Send using Rich file format). Is there any
way for me to change all contact format to (let Outlook decide the best

I can't print a received message in outlook express
I can't print any messages that I receive from outlook express when I click
the print button I get the following message.
Routine Error has occurred do you wish to debug Line 2019.It gives me two
options yes or no it does not matter which one I select I can not print out
the message.
The only way I can is to copy the e-mail to a word document and then print it....

Display only Email Addresses
When creating a new email, I click on the to icon and my email contacts show
up, however it also displays a seperate line with the contacts phone number and
or fax. I only want a list of email addresses. Is this possible.

Deleting the autocompletion caches in Outlook
OK, I have tried to delete/reset my nickname and autocompletion caches
using the directions here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q287623#appliesto
But I have MS Outlook 2002 and the directions don't work. I don't
have a Folders Option under Tools in IE.
Are there different directions for Outlook 2002?

Distribution list is not recognized on "To" field
Hello,
One of our clients has a rather weird Outlook distribution problem. We
can create a distribution list by following:
FIle > New > Dist. List > Select Members (select members from address
book of the same domain) > OK > (name the distro list to myfirstdistro)
- Save & Close
We are also able to see myfistdistro in Contacts with all the members
we had selected, however on...

Display Name + email address in Address Book?
I use Outlook 2002. When I create a new message and click on the TO: or Cc:
buttons, I would like to be able to see the name PLUS the email address to
select from. If you select the Address Book and create a message from
there, this format (name + email address) is displayed as "Display Name".
Help!

Outlook 2000 Distrabution Lists Empty on Import
I have 3 users who have new PCs. I exported their address books to
..PST files before giving them new PCs. When I imported the PST to the
address book it made the distrabution list ... but it didn't popluate
any of the members of the group. All they have is a blank DL. What
have I done wrong and how can Import populated DLs?

how do i delete 1000's of dupe empty contacts in outlook?

Autofill of Contacts I Can't delete
Hi,
I'm in MS Outlook 2002. And I'm having a problem where when I type in
a contact and it autofills or gives me options, it's of contacts that
are not in my contact list. I've either never put them in my contact
list or I deleted them from my contact list, but it's still pulling
them up from somewhere. I can't figure out where. When I try to
delete them, they won't delete.

Address Book
I recently updated my machine. I moved my Outlook.pst file and now when I
open up contacts, all my email and contacts are there. But- when I try to
use the address book I get this error message "Address list could not be
displayed. The contacts folder associated with this address book could not
be opened. It may have been moved or deleted or you do not have permissions."

Can I map to user-defined fields when I import an address list?
I defined about 20 icon fields for additional information for the contacts in
my company. However, when I import those fields are not available to map to.

problem with the @ symbol
I am using a UK keyboard
when i go to the contacts folder and try to type in the @ symbol i instead
get the " symbol and vice versa.
i have tried changing the language settings to UK English and a new Outlook
profile
no luck.
works fine in other applications like Word Excel

error when importing tab delimited text
Error says windows translator was unable to recognize this file. Could be a
wrong file or not supported by this translator or file might be corrupt.
I did get this to work one time. Importing names, addresses, phone, email
from a program in a tab delimited text file. I'm using office xp pro,
outlook 2000 with sp3. ...
