Outlook security
You have ruined Outlook by being overly security conscious and preventing MDB
files from being emailed.
You have reuined Outlook by not allowing short cuts to be inserted into the
text body of Tasks.
It is pretty clear that your staff does not use Outlook. I wonder what
contact management program they use. I would like to switch.

Outlook 2003 Find in Public Folder Contacts
We have Outlook 2003 and a Exchange 2003 with a Contact Public Folder.
Many if not all users can not use the "Find" on that "Favorite" folder.
Advance Find will return the correct results - but using the <Look For:>
from the Find button returns nothing.

Writing additional notes in Landscape format
In some Outlook Contacts, I like to copy parts of some Word documents. I am
able to view all of these "additional notes" when in Portrait view, but when
in Landscape, I am unable to adjust the screen to view the right side
extended portion. If I print the Contact - it will print in Landscape-, but
I just want to view it on my screen, not print it. Any ideas?...

how do i import excel address files to outlook
I have made a mailing label sheet in word, and imported it into excel. I
want to put the addresses and contacts in outlook contacts. I have used the
import export function in outlook, but the details are coming in in seperate
entries, ie address as one contact town as another. I used the map customs
fields and dragged each line onto the right place but i still wont put all

Contact / Address book
I can find how to import my personal address file, but then Outlook asks

to "browse" for that file. I can’t find it? Where is it? How do I find
it?

How can I print my Outlook address book (making it a list)?
I'd like to keep a hard copy of my Outlook contact info (name, address,
phone, email) but cana't seem to make it work. I see that Access 2003
provides a personal address book but I have only 2000. It seem like a simple
thing to expect to be able to print a hard copy of my contacts but now easy
to do.
Has anyone figured it out?

Outlook Contacts stopped syncing - HELP!!!
I moved some old contacts from an archive folder into Contacts and now my
Palm One hotsync log produces the following:

OL2007B2TR - Cannot create address book from Contacts
This problem newly appeared when I upgraded Vista from 5600 to 5728.
It was working properly with OL2007B2TR in RC1 5600.
The Outlook help file says to change the properties of the Contacts folder.
But when I try to do this (right click Contacts folder in OL2007, select
Properties/OutlookAddressBook), the checkbox "Show this folder as an email
address book" is greyed out and cannot be...

can't install my *.pst file to newly installed Outlook 2003
My hard drive crashed and was replaced. I had a backup of my *.pst file but
when I went to replace it following directiions wi th a copy of the file but
I received a message saying that the file was in use. The only file I had
opened was Outlook. If I close Outlook, how would I install the copy? I
tried copying the *.pst file to Outlook's directory but it would'nt copy....

Outlook Contacts - Converting User-defined Item fields to Folder fields

Contacts inside Distribution Lists issue
We have a department that sends out emails to 1200 of our brokers. All these
brokers are added as contacts and then added to Distribution Lists based on
the Letter of their name (A to Z). We have an issue whereby we update or

Can you have a view of a contact file with the records' picutres?
Need a way to display an individual contact's picture on the general view
page, not just the individual contact record. Tried to go to View->Arrange
by->Current View->Customize current views. Looked through all the fields
avaialable to select picture, but could not find that available.
Also, need to print contact listings with pictures as well...
Thoughts?

Where are the entries in the CATEGORY table saved?
I have a number of PC's in various locations that is keep in sync using the

Outlook 2003 appears to be configured to save all new contacts to my Contacts
in my Personal Folder. I want to be able to right click on an email address
and select the "Add to Outlook Contacts" option but have the contact added to

is there any way to export autoresolution addresses
When i type a letter into the to field of a new mail there are a load of
addresses i have saved in there, almost two years worth.....
I have recently got a new pc and new outlook and am wondering if there is
any way to get these email addresses and export them to my new outlook, none
of the addresses are in my contacts field......

Contact followup mystery
Two Outlook 2003 Exchange clients have suddenly begun receiving Contact
Followup popup reminders each time they open Oultook. They can select
"dismiss" or "dismiss all", wait roughly 30 minutes and the same popup
appears again. None of the contacts is flagged for followup so the trigger
