need help to create sales stages in BCM
I can't find any help anywhere that shows me how to create custom sales
stages for my business in BCM. How do I do it? The funnels is useless without
the proper sales stages.

BCM 2007 Beta 2 - can't reinstall
It was working fine. But, I had a troubble in outlook, and unistall BCM.
When i want to reinstall its says that can't reinstall bcm.
Running setup, shows a window that have cheked the bcm option install,
another win shows the path install, another ask confirm, then appears a
progress bar, then fill at full, and comes another win that tell: can't
install bcm.
any idea? pls, help me....

Installed Sm Bus Mgt with BCM and lost all existing business conta
I installed Small Business Mangement Edition 2006 with Outlook Business
contact manager. I already had BCM 2003 installed and with contacts. It was
only supposed to be an update. When I checked my business accounts, they
were gone. I need help finding and restoring them....

BCM error - cannot open information store
Just installed BCM update on 6 WIN XP SP2 machines. On one only, I get an
error"unable to open the information store". None of the BCM toolbars or
menu items load. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Any help?...

Language transfer in BCM2007
I downloaded and installed Office 2007.
It feels good, but there are some problems
Outlook is veryvery slow compared with Outlook in Office 2003.
Most irritating is that I tried to restore my dutch BCM backup to the
english Outlook 2007, and I got the error message that te backup was in
dutch. Most irritating is that there is no clear warning about the

SQL Active Directory Helper Service
I downloaded the BCMV2 Update and tried installing it. While installation I
got a message "An error occured while removing SQL Active Directory Helper
Service".
and rolls back all actions.
Now I find I cannot unistall my BCM and the same doesnt load too, saying
cannot connect to database engine.
I am going crazy trying to figure out waht to do. Please help....

When adding a name to an Account, why do all the account show up?
When I add a contact to an Account, not only the requested Account shows up,
but all the acounts pop up as well. Is there a fix for this....

Outlook cannot show contacts in sub folders in contact
does anyone have this problem?
i just tried the new Outlook beta and when i open my old .pst file, any
contacts under subfolders under the contact cannot be shown. i can't find a
way to access those contacts.
anyone has the same problem? any solutions? is this a bug?
running under the old version of outlook, the contact is like a folder
itself and the sube folders are easily shown.

New contact folders and sub-folders for organizing contacts
It's not very helpful having all your business contacts dumped into two
folders (Accounts & Business Contacts). For example, what about Vendors,
Shippers, Sales Associates, etc.?
It should be possible to create new folders and new sub-folders within BCM.
It would even be better if it were possible to map the user-created
folders/sub-folders with particular contact groups within SBA.

Photoshop to Powerpoint, How do I apply a custom designed template
I have created a custom background for my company using Photoshop and saved
it as a jpeg. It is the correct dimension for a PPT slide (1500x1125 pixels
or 10"x7.5"). I can bring it into Powerpoint and save it as a .pot, but it
remains a moveable object (a picture) as opposed to being a static background
design. How can I truly apply this as a Design Template?...

Looking for add-in reports for Outlook 2003 and BCM.
The reports included in Ourlook and Business Contact Manager are apparently
not extensible and I can find no way to create my own.
Does anyone know of a source for obtaining report templates?...

Problems installing BCM on server
Hi everyone,
We are currently trying to implement BCM as our new CRM. After a week or so
of testing the software, we decided we were ready to install it on the server
so we could create the database there. However, when I install BCM, the BCM
portion installs fine, but when it goes and trys to install the SQL desktop

Problem with BCM 2007 Beta Can't reinstall it
I have a trouble using BCM, did not start with Outlook. I unistall it. When I
want to reinstall prompt me to install HotFix Framework 2.0, then install it,
show me a dialog containig the install BCM cheked. Then shows another dialog
showing the dir where it will be install (/program files/small bussines) and
the last one, prees next to install. Change window and fill a bar, change

BCM Beta 2 - How to import my old data
Hello All:
I know I should have backed up my BCM data or exported it prior to
installing the BETA, but unfortunately I didn't. Now I want to simply import
the BCM data I had in the earlier version of Outlook / BCM, but I can't find

Marketing Campaigns (2007)
I am attempting to utilize the Marketing Campains portion of BCM but find
that I can only enter the initial information for the campaign. When I click
"Launch Campaign" it closes the campaign and I cannot enter any information
as to the results of the campaign. I have tried to look at ways of doing

Can't see BCM after reinstallation
Hey,
I'm using my Outlook 2003 for a quite long time, but by now without BCM.
Some days ago I started installing it, but somehow caused an error. Since my
Outlook didn't properly start, I deinstalled BCM and Outlook was ready für
use again.

I createad categories in BCM for my contacts, however my co -workers as the
user of the same network do not have in their BCM the same categories that I

Beta 2007 Address missing on Import from .csv
I tried importing Business Contacts from a good .csv file. I tried both
mapping the address field to the business address field and to the home
address field. After the import in both cases the city, state and zip show
up on the business card view but the address does not. Is there a way I can
look into the SQL database to see if that field is present? Everything else
came out fine.

Business Contact Manager and addresses
I can use my Business Contacts for my e-mail addresses, but when I go to do a
letter in Word and click on Address Book it will only allow me to access my
Contacts, not my Business Contacts. Help - I rely on being able to get
addresses without having to cut and paste when I do a letter....

Can you mail merge with BCM?
I'm in the process of evaluating BCM as a contact manager solution for our
marketing group (4 people) in our 20 person company. I'm wondering if I can
send out a printed mailer to a select group of individuals through BCM? or
is there a way to export to Word and accomplish my needs there?
Can anyone tell me why BCM wouldn't be a good solution knowing my
circumstances?...
