Error when trying to re-install BCM 2007
Setup failed to install the required component Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
Business contact manager for Outlook2007 (Beta) cannot continue. See
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup bootstrap\Log\Sumary.txt.

Sharing a BCM Database with Domain Users
I'm using Outlook 2003 with BCM and am having problems sharing the database
with another domain user.
When I add the user and fill in the username and domain, it looks like it is
going to add the user. It lists domain\username in the list of users to share
with, but after I click finish, the domain user disappears.

BCM should be supported on Windows Mobile 5.0
Business Contact Manager only works with Windows Mobile 2003 and under. All
the new pocket Pc's have Windows Mobile 5.0. I want to keep all my business
contacts in my BCM but I can't sync them to my Pocket PC because 5.0 is not
supported yet. When is this going to change?

Outlook BCM 2003 to BCM 2007 - Lost All Contacts
So when I isntalled the new BCM 2007, I did not backup my business contacts.
A major error on my part. I did do a .pst backup for my calendar, email, etc.
I recieved an error that the database migration was unsuccessful so I just
created a new database. I have tried to switch back to what I believe to be
my old BCM 2003 contacts, but I receive the same migration unsuccessful

BCM beta-Marketing Campaigns
I have sucessfully used the marketing campaign feature of BCM 2007 several
times, however when I attempted to utilize it again, when I clicked the
launch (to Word Merge), the system doesn't react-seems to stall-timeout. Any
help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Business contact manager customized view
After customizing the business contact manager view, say by Account-catagory,
you should be able to manipulate a catagory or items with in a catagory to an
above or below position making it fully customized for a need of a specific
view not neccessarily by alphabetical order.

Managing Project using Contact Manager
i am not sure if i am doing this right i am trying to use accoutn history to
link my projects data to account manager. for each project i have contract
document, report document, invoice, ... link thoes documents through account
history

How to open BCM database file
I have recently started using Outlook BCM and created a backup file of my
Business Contacts today.
I am asked to locate the appropriate file to open the backup when I am
trying to open the back up Business Contacts File.
Can any body advise me the name and where to find the right file to open the
backup ?

When I impt contacts frm Excel to Outlookwhole fields are missing
When I import contacts from Excel to Outlook whole fields are missing.
I am also mapping the fields. Same happens in Contact, Accounts in busienss
and Contacts in business. How do I get ALL fields (columns) to transfer from
Excel to Outlook. I have even been very careful to make column names in

When I need to reply to customer inquiries on various products, I want to

In contacts there is a tab that reads All Fields. In Business contacts there
is not the same tab. I can find user-defined fields, but can not input
information or view them in business contacts. How do I get the user-defined
