Why can't Outlook "see" my contacts
I switched from one computer running Office 2000 to another machine running
Office 2003. Over a network connection, I transferred all my files from the
old machine to the new one, including my Outlook contacts.
I can browse the contacts, even right-click and send a new message. But I
can't export my contact list, and when using the TO, CC ,& BCC buttons on a
new message Outlook tells me...

Contact mngr error
In the test drive of office 2007 outlook, I go to Business Contact Manager
menu and choose Business Contacts command, i wanted to edit contacts so I
double clicked, and got this error "the custom form cannot be opened. outlook

Outlook Business Contact Manager bug re: Contact link to Account
I am a MS SBA/Bus Contact Manager user and have encountered 2 different bugs
in BCM:
1) The update of BCM from SBA does not work systematically as advertised (I

Business Contact Manager Beta2 2007 not loading
I have installed MS Office 2007 Beta2 and Business Contact Manager 2007 Beta
2. But when I start outlook Business Contact manager does not load. I have
tried adding a Business Contact Manager Database from the Tools/Account
Settings/Data Files TAB but I get an error "The .DLL file for the information
service could not be loaded".
Can anyone help with this?

Address book won't locate contacts, even though they appear in Out
After having to reformat my hard drive and reinstall Windows, I restored my
previous Outlook files from a backup, placing them in the folder where
Outlook would normally keep them. In order to properly coordinate with my
Dell Axim using Activesync, I deleted the calender so I could import the
currently correct one. I noticed that all my contacts show up properly in
Outlook contact view...

Format for outgoing e-mails

Share contacts in Business Contact Manager
I need to use the same database of Business Contact Manager for all the users
in my office. I tried to share it in our server (with SBS 2003 and Exchange
Server) but there is an error when I execute Outlook (It's recomended to use

Can't create SQL database in BCM 2003
Hi all,
Running Office Pro 2003, patched current.
Running Microsoft SQL 2005
BCM 2003 has been patched with SP1, SP2 and SP3
OS is XP Pro x64, 2gb ram
When running the Startup Wizard for BCM, I Select the Create new database
option. It tries, then errors out telling me "Database creation was
unsuccessful". Is it because I have SQL 2005 installed and BCM is looking

default to Business Contacts upon opening CONTACTS
I have all my contacts filed under "Business Contacts in Business Contact
Manager", therefore I would like to have that folder open automatically when
I choose CONTACTS (the primary folder with MAIL, CALENDAR and TASKS toolbar).
Right now it opens to the regular Contacts folder, which is empty....

I replaced my keyboard with Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000.
It's "volume control WORKS (Mute / Nonmute)" as opposed to it's DECREASE AND
INCREASE SPEAKER VOLUME DOESN'T WORK on the keyboard!!! I get nothing.

New Features in Office 2007 Beta 2 Version of BCM
I am trying to determine if the Office 2007 version of Business Contact
Manager addresses a few issues that made the old version of BCM a problem for
my small business. A new features list doesn't seem to be anywhere on technet
and the thought of suffering through the beta install of BCM just to find out

How to I export Outlook Opportunity info to a quote
I would like to take the information that is contained in the Opportunity tab
of MS Outlook with Businss Contact Manager and export it to a quote template

BCM beta 2007 View expand/collapse groups
I have many BCM Bus contacts under many catagories. When I click the
collapse groups under view, my system hangs and I have to teminate Outlook
with the Window Task Manager then restart. If I manually collapse all the
groups (catagores) first then the expand/collapse feature seems to work durng
the remaining open session of Outlook. Does any one have a suggestion or

Can't find my Business Contacts from backups
I believe I periodically backed up my business contacts before my
computer crashed and I had to replace. I have found my Outlook
backups, which reinstalled nicely with notes, contact list, calendar,
etc., but the bcm contact list didn't install.

Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager running slow and stalli
Does anyone have any new, definitive bright ideas as to why BCM runs so slow
on my laptop and our office desktop? If I uninstall BCM, Outlook 2003 runs

Outlook won't pick up BCM after re-install
I'm running MS Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager on all of my
machines. BCM is working fine on all the computers except for one. It
was giving me an error message that said "Business Contact Manager was
unable to initialize this form", so I uninstalled and then re-installed
BCM. BCM is now installed and enabled, but Outlook won't pick it up.

Select multiple contacts to email
I can't figure this one out.
Does anyone know a way to send an email to multiple contacts in an
Account?
I've tried doing a view of Business Contacts by Company, then
selecting, and clicking new email. The email starts with no addresses.
