business contact manager upgrades
I currently have Outlook 2003 with BCM. The SP is 1. I tried to download SP
3, but would not work. The version of my BCM is 1.00.2002.08. Can I
download a newer version? Where can I get details on what enhancements there
would be? Thanks...

This won't fix all failures, but after 4 weeks of trying to fix a failed BCM

Office 2007 incl. Outlook installed and working, but BCM 2007 installer
failed, time after time, no error messages).
The secret to success today? The BCM 2007 installer is looking for an
existing BCM 2003 installation to proceed and when ...

STARTUP TIME SUCKS on MS Business Contacts Manager DB!
Unless the 3 minute startup time it takes to connect to the SQL Server db is
reduced, I will remove the tool. It has some features I really want to use,
but on a notebook with all the starting and stopping several times a day,
it's connection time really makes it virtually unusable, especially since
Outlook is frozen the whole time. I haven't even entered any records yet
either!

Business Contact - Info Very limited
Hello,
I'm reading through the documentation and the web site and it all looks like
marketing propaganda. I can't find any info on what I would guess is the
questions just about anyone would like info on. We're not looking for a
fancy CRM program but some of the basic additional functionality for Outlook.
We use Goldmine but it seems like BCM with Exchange should be able to have

I've cleared the cache, checked the database for errors, and rebooted the
system to no avail. I seem to be able to do anything else in Outlook
including opening and creating business contacts. Any ideas?

BCM stopped working
I know nothing about BCM and had this dumped on me. It was working fine for
a month, then one day all the users that had access to it (5 or so) reported
Outlook 2003 was running very slow, I determined that the BCM database was
no longer accessable for some reason. Removed the BCM data file and Outlook
ran fine again, went though the add data file wizard and it can no longer
find the BCM...

Business Contact autolinking double links e-mails
When auto-linking, BCM double links many e-mails both as an e-mail and as a
business note (though the icon is still an e-mail). I think/guess this is
because it finds the e-mail address of the person lower in the e-mail chain
(it seems to only happen with e-mails with replies). But the items are
identical - the only difference is in one case you open it and it's a normal
e-mail, and th...
