After I backed up all the my contact information and the history for each
account, I am unable to access the information or add new information and
contacts. The form page reads "business contact manager was unable to
initialize this form" ...

Installing Business Contact Manager on a Win 2003 Server -DC
I was able to install Outlook & Business Contact Manager on my Windows 2003
Server, Domain Controller (then rebooted). But I got error messages when
trying to share the Business Contact Mgr Database with other computers. Am I
allowed to share the database from a Win 2003 server, or from a DC?

Outlook 2007 beta 2 crashs
When I try to reply or forward any email, usually Outlook 2007 beta 2 crashs.
And it cannot create Business Contact Manager Database

Outlook Pro 2003 + BCM
Hello
I have this problem. Its the one everyone is having. That is BCM does
not show up in Outlook when installed.
Now I have a thought I would like to put out there as a possible cause
and I have seen this several times from some large companies when
trying to install software that needs DOT NET.
OK my BCM update installed insisted I install DOT NET 1.1 despite the

BCM Restore
This question seems to have been asked but never adequately answered so
perhaps I give it another try.
My environment is Vista RC1 running Outlook/BCM 2007 B2TR at home and
Windows XP SP2 running Outlook/BCM 2007 B2TR at the office. I'm trying to
backup my extensive BCM DB using the BCM BACKUP/RESTORE dialog provided
within BCM/database tools.

Opening old BCM database on new computer
I too crashed my system, got the data bask, and now want my (v large)
business contacts data back. I have located the data file (*mdf) but the
wizard will not recongnise a *.mdf file. How do I do this?...

BCM B2TR looses data!
I finally got the technical refresh to load and "upgrade" the database and
all of the records are there...with NO data in the comments section of the
details tab!!! Furthermore, I can't restore from a backup because that won't
work! (And if I could, at this point I doubt I'd get the comments back.)
So, BEWARE AND THINK TWICE ABOUT IMPLIMENTING THE TR ON OFFICE IF YOU USE BCM....

Send/Received Email problems - BCM not accepting ISP Pswd
BCM was operating normally yesterday when it suddenly requested my ISP
password using the "Enter Network Password" pop-up. This pop-up normally
appears only when I begin sending and receiving emails at the start of each
day.
My password is not being accepted and I cannot send or receive emails.
I now get the following error codes:
Sending - 0x800CCC7D
Receiving - 0x800CCC92

Lost business contacts
I did Bus Contact Mgr Update to try and resolve another issue and when I
restarted Outlook it asked if I wanted to start new data base. I said yes,
not really thinking, and all my business contacts are gone. Pleae Help. Is
there a way to recover this information? ...

After B2TR upgrading db fails
Installed B2TR for both Office and BCM fine and Office works okay. But
loading Outlook requires an upgrade to the BCM database but fails with error:
"Cannot open backup device C:\Documents and Settings...." Cannot create a new
database either....

Restoring BCM data
Recently had a system crash and had files recovered by a recovery service. I
have been trying to restore my business contact manager data ( .msbcm) and I
get an error " the backup file has invalid format" I used the same disks to
install the application is there any thing I can do I am feeling quite
desperate.

Recently installed BT2R. Was running the BCM test, but it will not load with

Error Messages 0x800CCC7D and 0x800CCC92
This is a new problem that arose in the middle of an otherwise normal day of
sending and receiving lots of emails. I was connected to my ISP and was
sending emails using mail merge in Outlook BCM. I had successfully sent about
850 emails with only 50 more to do.

I want to get SP2 (or SP3) for BCM for Outlook 2003.

BCM2007 Customizable Forms
Can anyone tell me if in the new version of BCM 2007 that we will not only be
able to customize forms by adding new fields to the bottom of the forms but

BCM. I would like to have Sub-Accounts in BCM. I have accounts with

account drop down box
Hi,
My user used to have the "Account" dropdown window on her reply messages.
She used to be able to select the POP3 email account that she wanted to reply
from. She has three mailboxes from the same POP3 address on Outlook 2003.
How do I return this dropdown window to the reply message? I appreciate your
assistance.

Synching Business Contacts to Mobile Device. Can it be done?
Using Outlook 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.x, I want to be able to synch my
Business Contacts from the Business Contact Manager. The only method I've
come up with is to manually copy all my contacts in the Contacts folder. But
this stinks because I forget to do this, etc.
I can't believe there isn't a better way. Know one?...
