Custom Forms for BCM?
I want to create a custom form for BCM - I've created forms before for
Outlook, but it seems that I cannot edit the BCM forms or am I missing
something? Looks like I can just add user fields but then cannot add those
fields to the default form page or delete the fields I don't need on the
default forms?
If I cannot customize them, I really don't think BCM will work for me. I
wanted to...

Can BCM use SQL 2000/2005 server?
Can BCM connect to a central database?

Follow-Up Flags in BCM
Has Microsoft resolved the problem of not being able to sort by the "Due By"
date in BCM or have reminders pop up or sound when the "Due By" date/time is
here?

Mass Mailings Blocked in BCM
I recently (late June) set up to do a mass mailing using mail merge in Word
to about 1200 contacts. I wanted to send individual emails to each name on my
BCM Business Contacts list. I had done this successfully previously but this
past June I received the following error message:
"552 5.3.4 Requested action aborted; number of recipients or message quota
reached"

Helpful postings about BCM 2007
I am trying to find some information about BCM 2007 and unfortunately I"m
not haveing any luck. I have a couple of questions..
1) How does the sync process work? Other postings say it utilises POP and
SMTP servers, so I'm assuming it works along the same lines at Calender

Bus Contact Mgr - History View Tasks will not show status complet

Add colour to accounts or contacts in Business Contact Manager
When viewing accounts (or contacts) in BCM it would be useful to be able to
have them colour coded, so you could more easily differentiate between a
category of contact eg. customer, partner, potential customer etc. I guess
you can create different folders to achieve the same thing...

BCM 2007 folder
Does anyone know if the new BCM 2007 also requires a separate contacts within
BCM contact folder when importing Outlook contacts -- meaning you have two
contact folders?

Why can't I add users to Business Contact Manager database?
Business Contact Manager will not let me give additional users access to the
database. The wizard adds the user, but does not allow me to check the box
adjacent to it. The original group of users still have access. I have
installed SP3....

Exporting BCM Accounts for use in Access
Hi everyone
I want to export my contacts to use in an Access database. I have tried
using CSV but address field is causing problems because of the outlook
"Address Block". BCM does seperate some of the address into seperate fields
but the first two lines of the address are joined into one field (e.g. 25
Main Street London - instead of 25 Main Street, London).

converting pics embedded in email over to 'my pics' folder
how do i copy or transfer a photo that is in an Outlook email over to 'my
pics' folder? i can't find the extension that it was sent from, and it keeps
going over as "scrap", but nothing is in the attachment.

Why won't my sent messages show up in the sent folder?
My outgoing messages aren't showing up in my "sent" folder. All appropriate

Blackberry synchronisation problems
I have just installed business contact manager update for Outlook 2003 and it
is working fine except that one user who has a Blackberry hand held can no
longer synchronise with his computer - It worked fine 'out of the box' before
but now blackberry desktop manager crashes and closes when attempting to
synchronise.
Blackberry do not seem to support business contact manager with Outlook ...

how synchronize business contacts with windows mobile 5.0 device
how can I synchronize my business contacts with my phone/pda which uses
windows mobile 5.0?
Its so frustrating, and if I cant get my business contacts onto the device -
it essentially becomes redundant in terms of business use on the go!

Adding/Changing lead categories in outlook BCM?
Is it possible to change/add/modify the lead categories in the 'source of
lead' pull down? I'm in real estate and most of the categories don't apply
or are too vague....

Manage Accounts list in catagories in business manager
Allow manual manipulation of account order listing when Accounts are listed
in Business manager by catagories.
example: You may want to list the catagorized accounts by the order that
you call on customers. I see no way to do this. I'd like to be able to
select the order or drag and drop in the order I want the accounts listed.

Share full e-mail messages with Business Contact Manager
We work with two people on a shared BCM database.
If i connect a mail message to a contact, then my collegue can only see a
note of that mail message. Thus the whole make-up and the attachments are
gone.
This happens also for me when i delete the e-mail message.
Is it possible to put the mail-messages somewhere in a shared folder, before
i connect it to BCM? Could Exchange be an so...

Updated to newest version of BCM - backup no longer works
Hello,
I recently updated BCM and discovered this evening when I started my weekly
backup that I have "lost" the ability to backup my BCM database. When I
click on File, then look for the backup function, it has disappeared.

Change imported contacts to display last name first?
Is there any way to change all my imported contacts (over 600) to default
