Outlook 2003 with Windows Live Local
I was excited to use the Windows Live Local (Beta) when I downloaded it. It
worked beautifully. Then about 3weeks ago my outlook would not let me open a
calendar form saying I needed to contact my adminitrator. I am the

I can't get in touch with the business accounts and business contacts I had
in Outlook 2003. Today I installed the betaversion 2 of Office 2007.

How do I automatically generate a quote from opportunities
Does anyone know of a method in which I'd be able to automatically generate a
quote with the appropriate information filled in directly from the
Opportunities portion of Outlook with Business Contact Manager?

Blank e mail from large distribution lists.
When I receive an e-mail that was sent to a large distribution list it is
blank. Sender is blank, subject is blank and the message is blank. I
receive all other e-mails just fine....

One user of Outlook Business Contact Manager?
I work for a smaller company and I am the one and only sales professional
here. We have an old copy of Maximizer (last entry was 2003) that was used

Outlook 2003 BCM on laptop unusable without network post backup?
Hi... before the last round of patches (August) I backed up the Off2k3 BCM
and PST files to a share on the peer-to-peer server-less LAN from one of the
sales guys laptops and ran the updates from WU and MSOffice. Since then the
laptop has no access to the BCM database unless it is connected to the
network and I have found no solution for this. Is there some sort of

Emails in BCM -Shared Database - what happens if Outlook file is not available
hy,
I'm thinking about this:
email ist stored in personal outlook file and only created in BCM
database, if deleted in outlook.
what happens, if I share my BCM database so other users can access and
link emails to BCMcontacts. Let's say Anna links an email from her
inbox to a BCM contact. Now Annas PC is down, because she's on

BCM account history view in discussion mode fails
Hi
For test I created 1 account with 4 business contacts and had
BCM auto-link their emails.
The emails show up in the account history pane.
I can categorizes the view by all criteria except by Discussion.
This fails for unknown reasons.
Error msg "Restart Outlook or if the error remains to reinstall Outlook".
Windows XP pro, Office 2003 and BCM are installed from fresh.

Can't open a business contact with the Bus. Contact form.
When I attempt to open a business contact I get a message that says it cannot

Cannot change password
I've installed BCM on my network based on some computers with windows 2000
amd some with windows XP.
The database is on my server (with windows 2000), all the other computers
are clients. Everything works fine for me except that now if I try to change

auto-linking in Business Contact Manager
The message auto-linking function does not work in BCM v2. The cause is
previously corrupted .pst files. Although corruption was fixed using
scanpst.exe, the repair does not touch missing segments. BCM v.1 was working
fine with the same .pst files so I must conclude that the .sql database plus
BCM v.2 is more sensitive. Unfortunately Outlook instability no longer allow

BCM Reports - Cannot generate
Hi:
I've read the myriad posts here already talking about the "Report Could Not
Be Generated" error message, and the stock reply seems to be "reinstall BCM."
I have reinstalled BCM *twice,* included the update download from hell, and
the reports do NOT WORK. I don't have ACT!, I don't have Whidby, is there
anyone here who actually KNOWS what to do to fix this?

Business Contact Manager Update for Outlook 2003
Hi,
Two questions about BCM:
Every time I ran Office Update, I saw this "Business Contact Manager Update
for Outlook 2003" update is needed to be install, while the fact is that I
have downloaded and installed it several times. If I ran Windows Update
(included all Office Update), it then won't show up.

Suddenly no BCM in Send To
All was fine. When wanted to send a new message to a BCM contact, I simply
clicked 'To', then selected either Accounts or Business Contacts and clicked
the name to send the message to.
Note - a 3rd option was Contacts that showed names from my personal OAB
Personal Folder (or whatever the heck it's called; anyway, they are names
from my regular Outlook, not contained in BCM.)
