outlook vs outlook express
i am presently using express, but want to use my newly installed outlook form
student/teacher 2003. how can I do this, and how can i move my address book?

PST file for OL2K vs OL2003
I have OL 2k running on my old PC and OL2003 on the new PC. Can I place a
copy of OL2000's "outlook.pst" in the folder of my new OL 2003? Are the
..pst files compatible?

send link blocked "Outlook blocked access ...."
I installed the latest security update for outlook and I can no longer
send a link. I can however receive a link and open it.
I am running Outlook 2003 SP2 on XP Pro SP1.
I have gone through the security settings in the Tools/Options menu and
cannot find anything that would cause this problem. I have the security
set to Internet Medium which is what I have always had my settings set
to.

rules have disappeared - help in recovering them?

Hi,
For some unknown reason, my rules seem to have disappeared.
When I click on the rules Wizard, it is BLANK where it should have LOTS
of rules.
In the folder C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook, I can see the following files:

Outlook gone wild??
Hi all, I had to reinstall my outlook 2003 on my new computer after my old
on fried.
After the install, I set up my email address, and did a send/receive.
This is what happened after that.
emails download, then disappear.
Opening inbox, I get "search root"
Open task, I get notes
Open calendar, unable to display folder
Open notes: I get journal

Cant Share for Delegate Folders what can i do?
I'm an assistant and my boss wants me to be able to get to his email from my
computer. I have done every thing possible to get the delegates thing to
work. Every thing i've read says that you have to right click on the folder
and select sharing but when i right click you cant choose sharing, it wont

How to Disable Junk Mail Filter Outlook 2003
I recently reloaded XP and Office 2003 on my computer. My email is a POP3
account. I also use Norton Antispam for spam.
Previously, there were no messages going into the Junk Mail folder. Now
there are. Some of the messages in the Junk Mail folder have even been
marked by Norton as spam. I have set Outlook to "No Automatic Filtering"
but message are still being put in that folder....

Converting individual mailbox to a file using MAPI
Hi All,
I am looking for a way to backup individual mail box of our Exchange
Server 2003.I want to convert my individual mail box to a file and
backup it. Can any help me with what MAPI methods i can achive
this(though MAPI is not designed for backup). Should I read each mail
of mail box and write it to a file ?.
Any help on this will be greatly apppreciated.

Can I display the e-mal contact list as last name, first name?

RPC over HTTP problem
I have configured an Outlook 2003 client to use RPC over HTTP over the
internet (DSL) with an Exchange mailbox that is over 15 GB in size. When I
tested out the connection with a much smaller test mailbox, Outlook launched

Advice how to set up newsletter but not be a spammer
Hi all, can you can help?
I want to send a newsletter to clients. This is a legitimate list of

marking multiple messages as junk
Is there a way to mark a large group of messages as junk at one time
rather than clicking each one and hotting junk? We know how to select
multiple messages but then the option to "add sender to junk senders
list" becomes inoperable. My client is running Outlook 2003.
